What I feel so sad about this drama is that so many men promise to this and to this did not and they would always break their promise just like the king he promised he would be back for her and he ended up leaving her pregnant she gave birth and everything her baby was taken by the Empress the Empress and she finds out that the king got married so in order not to mess up what's going on there they train her to be very feminine and send her to the palace to be chosen for the emperor and what she does teach him to read and to be strong And he falls in love with her but It must be hard that her child was raised by someone else did she ever have a child with the emperor though and then when that girl got taken care of handset marrying another woman. Did the king ever find out that she had a kid from him that's the thing I never understood before because you know it was like the king and an emperor see back then I thought I was just the king's or just a number I didn't know that these kings and like small parts parts would have to answer to the emperor gonna like the mayor's or governor's answering to the president

Poor Tanashiri, she was only used by her own Father’s political greed/ambition which made her to do evil deeds caused by jealousy and unloved by the Emperor. I finished watching Empress Ki a month ago ( although this beautiful drama was released years ago) but I still feel the sore/ heartbroken ending effect of Wang Yu dying without renouncing his love for Seung Yang😭

Tanasiri, I liked her very much All she needed was love. True love. I think the writer made a mistake not giving Tanasiri and WangYu a chance. Sungnyang was already in love with the emperor, Why not let WangYu move on with a woman who would love him back.

I like that she wasn't really evil at the start. She was just a bratty kid who could've had a better life. She has an extreme case of jealousy tho which led to her downfall. Honestly, I hate the Emperor for neglecting her so much. I hated him even more when he neglected Maha (even though he's not really their son, but he doesn't know that). All she wanted and needed was love and acceptance but she didn't receive any of that. I find her enjoyable to watch since she's a villain but she manages to create some comedic and sad moments.
