This is one of my favorite island songs from growing up. Even though I didn't understand the song, it never gets old. Can anyone kindly please share the lyrics here? Thanks
Nihon no enka wa totemo subarashi desu! Thank you very much, Tres for this song! Although, I know the words and meaning in Japanese. You have a beautiful voice and the accompanying orchestra's background as well!
Yes never gets old, I sang this song myself, even if I didn't understand what any single words (means). It was repeating on the radio late 80s on V6AK Radio Chuuk. Thank you for sharing tho, bring back all kinds of memories.
This brings me back to a very specific night when i was a child. Chester Blesoch, Marlyne Tellames, Dave Orrukum, Carlo & Lee Ototbed, Rolland Ngiraului.... all in the family room while I sang along to this song in the dining room. I can remember that moment so clearly. That night my dad heard me truely sing for the first time, and he told me that this man singing is his Uncle, and so he is my Uncle too. Wow! Never forgot... Thank you for posting all these songs
