I'm looking at L-Shaped Standing Desks and there is not a lot of information in comparison with them as most reviews are just the standard sit/stand desks instead of L-Shaped. 2 years later, how did the Uplift V2 hold up? Are you still using it, changed to something else, any regrets?

Sure most headsets beat the 800x feature wise, the buttons on the side were an extreme design flaw.. but nobody comes close to the sound quality of the 800x/x41&42/xp500&510

my Elgato, when unfolded, is uneven with one side tight and the other side loose. Do you know of any way to fix this?

I loved the 800x. To this day it's still the best overall sounding headset I've ever had. And I've used nearly a dozen. My biggest issue with it, other than the fact that it only works via optical (which isn't supported with the new consoles unless you buy an adapter), is the latency. It's among some of the highest I've ever experienced for a headset. Even by wireless standards. Which really sucks. Especially for things like shooters. Turning off any enhancements and just using basic stereo alleviates it some, but you lose a lot in sound quality and directionality. I will say that the Arctis Pro Wireless is the closest that any headset has come in sound quality and just overall compared to the Elite 800x. It might even have better mids. But I just loved the bass and surround of the 800x. I also curiously never experienced the band issue after years of use. But I did have a hinge break on me. Had to buy another one. So I've got 2 Elite 800xs that work, but I don't use either anymore haha.

I loved the 800x, it has flaw after flaw but what it does well no other headphones I’ve ever worn can touch, the bass on these headphones is really something else… it gets deeper than any other non haptic feedback headphones I’ve worn, and it gets quite loud too

GUYS! UPDATE! I see that you can use their G app to turn off the LEDs and you can reprogram the DPI button, however, I haven't figured out how to get the expose function, but "Swap apps" works alright.

Brother is the 80 x 78 size variant too big ? I opted to get the 72x78 but not in stock til December

You can program any button for anything and you can turn off the rgb to prolong the battery span

Nice review. BTW I missed details about Lightspeed and HERO 16k sensor (both present on the g703). Do they play a key role here? I ask this because I would prefer g703 if it's pixel perfect sensor because makes a lot of difference when using 4k Macs, I'm not a gamer but worries me a lot precision and responsiveness.

I have a 800X and the battery is dying lol, only had it for 2-3 years or so.

lol of course you can change the dpi button on the g703 for other purpose with the ghub app. I'm using it as mission control button on my mac.

Like the fact u got right to the point as soon as the review started but u didn't even fully extend the Elgato.Ur 6'4 it would've given us a good idea of the height fully raised.By not opening it all the way is that code for choose the Emart?
