We noticed a few people that we met came over from the Riu Reggae, also curious what privileges/ amenities did the Reggae have that Montego Bay didn't? & agree Pepe's jerk station was fire and it was good vibes at the pool/ hanging around the Riu Montego Bay

Rincón was actually on our list to visit after exploring around Aguadilla but it started storming bad. Definitely will visit next time in PR, whats some things/ places you'd recommend to do there?

We really appreciate the feedback on our Puerto Rico videos, and your wife can understand what Nakeita goes through so it'll be nothing new for her either lol Duolingo has also helped us ALOT with basic Spanish gestures! In terms of food that's the only downside we really encountered is a lot of foods are heavily fried or include pork, so you'll probably have an experience similar to ours but good thing there is still a lot of local options without it so don't let it discourage you trying local food. Hopefully you and your wife are finally convinced to visit lol as I remember you were considering it.

@@thelovestravel oh yes you all have 100% convinced us and we have already booked our flight and our b&b. We have a little tiny house close to the rainforest. Again I appreciate your help and I'm sure when we are there we are going to remember the food experience you guys had. And as you both said, it is not badmouthing the food because I'm sure it is all phenomenal, but everybody has their thing. We appreciate you both and it is really nice hearing the perspective from your wife as well. My wife has really enjoyed listening to her because she is kind of quiet like your wife.

Really? Never knew that about islanders buying food in Miami. & Yes the prices for food definitely were steep lol other than food the prices honestly wasn’t bad though (housing/ flights etc) so I guess it balances out

Thank you! We definitely would recommend Puerto Rico, personally will mention too if you able to explore outside of San Juan do so as a lot of people only stay there! Aguadilla, Luquillo, Ponce just to name a few are beautiful! And more cultural in our opinion vs feeling extremely touristy in San Juan.

Really excited to go and was kind of on the fence but when I saw your honest review, that was the deciding factor for me. Just straight up honest reviewing. You guys just keep up the great work and who knows how far this will take you. And yes, San Juan is definitely on the list but I hear of so many other beautiful forest and beach landscapes that we definitely have to explore.

Agreed! Some of the restaurants were a bit pricey, next time we visit we plan on staying in Grand Case or Marigot and trying more restaurants on the French side. Thank you for the feedback and watching, greatly appreciated!

We paid $360.14 for our rental car through National for 6 days. Assuming you meant pool instead of "pods" I believe its open all year round as most resorts typically are but not 100% sure. Hope that helps

​@@marcomillette4012 Sorry totally forgot about them, the pods/ beach villas I'm not sure they were still in construction so pricing wasn't available yet when we was there. & correct $360 USD for the rental car We wouldn't recommend this resort, just too many issues we've been to over 20+ resorts in the caribbean islands over the years and by far this was the worst! Its not letting me tag you in our comment explaining our issues here but its the pinned comment on this video

I believe so cause we still seen marked taxis at night, but not 100% sure. Our Airbnb happen to be across the street from all the main clubs on the Dutch side so we just walked to them vs driving/ taxis

We’re just speaking from our personal experience when we visited we went to several gas stations (roughly 6 in total) on the island and was not able to use our credit or debit cards and specifically was told by the gas station owners/ employees that it was cash only (National car rental told us as well when picking up our rental car take out cash for gas) if that information is incorrect thanks for informing us & the viewers but again this video is based off our personal experience

@@thelovestravel Wow this is new for me, I'm not saying you are lying but 6 gas station, its not about you guys, but i will contact one of the biggest journalist on the island with this, because Curacao is going on the wrong direction with tourists, this is not okay and it has to be public......we always use more cards to pay with than cash on the island, everyone on the island must have a bank card now a days because there are somethings happening that we preferred not to have cash on us or using a lot of cash. Thank you for the feedback. I really enjoy the video. ❤

That’s interesting to hear, unfortunately it was a conversation after visiting a few gas stations we did question if we was told that information “because we clearly were tourists” as we’ve experienced locals trying to get over on us or overcharging, being tourist on several islands in the Caribbean but we didn’t get that feeling in Curaçao since all the locals were extremely welcoming and friendly, so would hope that isn’t the case, ultimately we love Curaçao and would come back in the quickness

We used National at the CUR airport (we normally only use National/ Alamo or Enterprise in the islands, they’re all owned by the same company as well if you didn’t know)

We’ve only been once but loved it as well! Can’t wait to get back!

@@thelovestravel this is a great place everytime I go I make sure to spend a day in st.barts and Anguilla that place is amazing.

We actually was suppose to visit Anguilla but our ferry was cancelled due to weather, next time we visit we’ll definitely visit St Barths & Anguilla, we even heard Saba as well (if you’ve took a day trip there?)

@nakeitaandduane the winair flight to st.barts is much better then the ferry..I plan to visit saba in July when I go
