At 5:14 everybody is reading. Mom is reading music. Big stack of reading material on the coffee table. Far cry from what we see today. Also, did you see the dog?

What happened to the Americans? Once a proud, God-loving, prosperous, intelligent and hard-working people. They were the best. The best civilization, the best culture, the best citizens. They were the best. Today they are a guilty people. They are insulted, violated and murdered by all the resentful people of the world. Their sons are threatened with death and their daughters are raped and forced into prostitution. To make matters worse, they are forced to give money and feed all those foreigners and minorities who insult them and wish them harm. White women hate white men. They have children with blacks but then demand that those white men feed the children of blacks and the perverts force decent people to submit to their filth. Now everyone is immersed in the misery of the third world and everyone wants to be socialists and perverts. The socialists could not defeat the American people on the battle front, but they have destroyed them by corrupting the youth, women, minorities and politicians. The Americans were the best. Now I don't understand. What happened to the Americans?

Poor and pushed as they were, they strove to survive - and that their children did too, as far as they could, otherwise a great many of us would not be here to view these photos and/or videos. Grit, true grit, that's what these people had - and yet, so many of us lack. Oh bless them all! ❤👌

Please explain how that first photo can be of people cooking AFTER the SanFrancisco earthquake... none of those buildings are damaged.

One of the pictures you labeled as a "couple dining", is actually him watching her sew on a sewing machine. I noticed this and the fact that more than one of the other pictures are not correctly labeled either.

They become all blurry after a couple of seconnds.....

Those two ladies walking down the street and shorts while the guy was whistling were flattered now you can't even look at a woman without her getting pissed off.

I'd like to think that the lady window painter was paid adequately for such back breaking work, not to mention the high quality job she did 😊. I can't forget about the folks that make bricks for a living, talk about your back breaking work 😮

Since I'm particularly enamored with photos from the 40s, I ❤ the photo of the young couple back in 47, especially the pretty young lady 😊. Even today I feel it's risky to get xrays. But back in the earliest days it must have been like playing Russian roulette with five bullets to choose from in a six shooter 😮. Just one more thing, I've seen the very next photo as a thumbnail before, at first I thought it was the man's hand lifting up her skirt 🤣

Love your presentations. Only wish each was devoted to a given year so that old ghosts are not lost in a cowd of years and a life age more easily examined. Would leave a remarkable archive for another gereration to grasp more easily.
