We still lost the run a couple of times but at least the run was fun!

Classic east set run at Dumont. This was a big dune run with probably 50 cars.

Sunday Afternoon Run

Sunday Morning Run with Sandpipers and Dune Masters.

Saturday run just to take a look at the dunes. We arrived on Friday. We started out with only a few cars but collected about 15 by half time.

2024 Sand Piper and Dune Masters Hill Climb Finals. There are 4 classes; Small engine (less than 350ci) single tire, Small engine Dual Dire, Big engine Single tire, Big engine Dual Tire. They each must make 5 stages in their class to make it to the "snail race". Slowest one to the top without getting stuck wins! Lawrence Simas was the big winner this year!

This is scary. If you own a Wildcat XX remove the boots and inspect the rack. Better yet...throw it away and buy and upgraded Rack & Pinion. The rack is only supported by the pinion gear and a bushing on the passenger end. This means a long unsuported rack on the drivers side. Luckily this broke on a low-speed run. It would have been ugly at 70 MPH the day before.

Easter was a short trip this year. Most of the clubs left on Sunday. The rack gear in the Wildcat XX broke on a slow speed run on Monday. Luckily we were on a low-speed run. Hope to see you all next year.

Dune run from West set through transition to east set then back to camp.

Saturday afternoon first half run in the west set. Jeremy found nice lines through the entire west set. This is over 40 minutes of wide-open throttle in 7 minutes.
