    Nice vid. I love Tacoma and always wanted one for 10+ years. I finally bought one in 2019. A TRD Sport V6 ext cab. I'll keep it till the wheels fall off but I won't buy another one. I'd get a Frontier next.

    I love Tacoma, I’ve had 2 in my life. A 2010 trd of and 2019 sr5 v6 4x4. 2010 took me from Tucson to Chicago n Nashville to DC more than I could ever tell you. With continuous off roading in between. 2019 does the exact same just a little faster and much more comfortably. To make a video on a Tacoma and tell me a major point to the positives is your infotainment system being “quicker” and “less laggy” makes me realize the other half of Tacoma fans r people that I’m embarrassed to be associated with. Ik saying that makes me sound unbelievably douchey butttt your railing lines of copium with these new 24s so I think we equally as bad

    I'm pretty bummed out about them getting rid of the V6. And I'm not nearly as troubled by the 4 cylinder as I am it being a turbocharged 4 cylinder. Forced induction places a lot more strain on an engine, not to mention the additional heat compared to a naturally aspirated engine. All that means shorter engine life. I've been driving Toyota trucks all my adult life, but I cannot see myself buying this.

    • @DannyBlair-ky6px
      @DannyBlair-ky6px หลายเดือนก่อน

      They built the engine to handle the turbo . It’s been around a while in he he Lexus 4:13

    • @JulietHotelFoxtrot
      @JulietHotelFoxtrot หลายเดือนก่อน

      The heat is exceptionally well controlled throughout. The cooling system is robust overall, and keeps oil and coolant temps well within a safe range. It will depend on the trim, but the TRD OR has an intercooler for the oil system, and the turbo is water cooled. It's only pushing a max of 15 psi boost anyway, with an 11:1 compression. Compared to the outgoing V6, the engine performance is markedly better. It no longer feels like grandmas CRV when you give it some beans. Longevity will remain to be seen, but the only way to find out is to wait 10 years, and by then there will be yet another new engine and a new Tacoma and everyone will be making the same arguments. The reality is, the V6 is gone. For good. It's done. Not coming back in these.

      @@JulietHotelFoxtrot I'm familiar with the talking points, but stay tuned. Toyota is already losing market share, and yeah they have all sorts of influencers out there shouting 'all is well' with the new engine and turbocharger. We shall see.

    Please, please stop saying the Accord 2.0t (K24C4) is a "De-Tuned" Type-R engine (K24C1). They are actually designed differently, for different goals. Yes the Block (or casting) is the same. Internals of the engine are different and behavior of how they preform is different. Thank you for do this video, I believe these 2.0t 10th gen accords are built to go 200k miles with some maintenance items to keep an eye on beyond the typical things (Oil, fluid flushes, and wearable parts). I want to like the looks of the 2018-2020 Touring, but the rims are just ugly to me. I may look at getting one at a better price then the 2021-2022 Touring and buy rims for it that I like.

    I have a 2021 Tesla Model Y Long Range. You did an excellent review IMHO. You did not mention a nice feature that I use a lot. You can press the right trackball knob on the steering and give voice commands to the car which is quite handy in certain situations. You can tell it to turn the A/C on or off or tell it to put cabin temp to a specific temperature and you can tell it to play a certain song you'd like to hear on the great stereo system that Teslas have. You didn't mention the onboard "gaming" that helps pass the time while Supercharging or the "Light Show" feature that thrills all your friends and neighbors around the holidays. Having all the LED lights on the car and the windows and rear lift gate go on and off and up and down to the music is kind of fun. Kids love it! Great review though. With the prices dropped so drastically and the $7500 tax credit I'm hoping a lot more people will consider making the switch to Teslas this year, I've owned over 40 ICE cars and none of them held a candle to either of my Teslas.

    Of course when everybody reviews a Tesla they always mention the acceleration and being able to accelerate so quickly compared to other traffic. Watching this video while understanding the surge and EV sales now and what will be the future I know that our idea of fast acceleration and acceleration compared to other vehicles is going to change. We will all have to learn eventually to anticipate that all cars will accelerate more quickly and take this into consideration when driving. A car that is just entering a road a block away will be a hazard if we think that we’re going to pull out in front of it. All cars will be 11 second cars. We will all get used to the acceleration in the car and it would just become normal.
