What a nightmare that day was. I was on my property off Martin Rd alone with no way to leave, watching the sky turn from orange to red and then black before someone saved me and my pets just in time. I took advantage of the Black Summer Grant and installed two pumps with fire hoses on my property, along with 2 portable backpack fire fighting pumps. Those items were used in October 2023 when fire ravaged my property for the second time in 4 years, and the shed I had built survived. So grateful to Clarence Valley Landcare.
