Wonderful playing of this gorgeous sonata. I first loved the clarinet (original) version, but loved it even more when I first heard the viola transcription. These two young musicians get it just right.

beautiful playing...but...i find you chop up the phrases somewhat and throw many notes away..........and your vibrato doesn't always suit the phrasing...it seems to be or on or off.....

So thankful for TH-cam, I just found my favourite interpretation of this lovely sonata, and it's this one, with these two beautiful musicians. (edit: three in fact, including the girl, who is no doubt also a musician)

c'est très beau et avec beaucoup de sensibilité, de finesse et de couleurs, l'alto sonne très bien, seulement des commencements des notes et des ligues on pourrait souhaiter entendre mieux chez Adrien. Il concerne encore plus au jeu dans les grandes salles. Je l'ai écouté à Moscou en decembre dernier dans le quatuor de Lucas Debargue et j'ai cherché la possibilité de lui dire qu'il était absolument superbe dans sa partie très difficile et parfois extrêmement haute mais dans cette salle l'alto semblait parfois un peu perdu - ce que je rends exactement sur le compte de manque d'attaque du son à certains moments. Je demande pardon pour ce petit criticisme mais je aimerais voir Adrien comme un altiste le meilleur au monde pour lequel il a toutes les qualités requises
