Thank you! If you are on about the black bits at the bottom you can always pull them under and inside and peg down in the colder/wetter months. We just find it better to peg on the outside on grass in summer months when this was recorded. We also use a draft skirt across the bottom of the van which you can see at the beginning of the video.

Morning Mick, I'll definitely try to remember to do more snap shots in the future. We love an arrival video ourselves. It allows you to have a really good idea of where you're going. The sat nav we use is the Avtex Tourer Two which is a dedicated CAMC sat nav. It has all the Club sites and major sites and most CLs in built in it. I always do refer to directions given by the site though as we get nearer. Gem, Ray & Kodi

It is a fabulous place! It's the first time we've been up with the caravan and we will definitely be returning. So much to see and do! Laughter is contagious! And we certainly do a little of that together! 😂😂 Gem, Ray & Kodi

Hi Mick, Thanks for watching. Our is an older version which we got off Marketplace from a older couple who had used it once before having their van stolen and then downsizing. However I've checked with a friend who has the same awning but a newer model (year wise) and his came with 3 roof poles (there are more pockets for up to 5 I believe from memory) No, they don't come with the upright poles you can see if your Kampa ones fit. We had to buy some Universal ones as we had sold ours with our older heavy awning) Again, I believe the newer models do have the storm strap attachments but our version doesn't. So again I guess it depends which model year you've actually ordered. Remember, though this is what Sunncamp call a weekend short use awning, generally for May to September use. Saying that we've took some fair old winds in ours and it's not budged a bit! All the very best! Gem, Ray & Kodi

@thezammits1713 great thanks for the reply, yeh it's only for weekends away and maybe longer in the summer months, it'll be getting tested this weekend as we're off to Scarborough, just needed something lighter as I'm currently still recovering from having my kidney and cancer tumour removed back in June 👍

Hi I've just bought the same awning, I find it fits poorly at the caravan side IE doesn't go all the way to the ground is it something I'm doing wrong ? Standard caravan drop down.

Agreed, we had some pretty strong gusts off the hills where we were when this was filmed and it was excellent! We also have the canopy version which we use virtually all the time. That is also very, very good, but after a real mixed bag of weather in Cumbria recently decided we really needed another option to close up from the elements more!

There is a pod and cottage to rent on site. But I'm unsure of the layout for those with disability issues. I think in the pod you'd need to use the site facilities which are maybe 50 meters from the pod. In terms of the area there is not much within a nearby distance you'd need to travel into Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe or Skegness. The road into the site, unless it's been addressed is full of potholes.

@@thezammits1713 yes I did see the entrance to the site it’s a bit disgusting I must say it really lets the site down terribly,I think the travel Trolls have brought a few more customers in ,I will send a email to whoever to find out a bit more ,thank you so much for getting in contact with me,John 🌹🇬🇧🙏🫂

It was amazing! We loved every second of it!
