Thanks for your feedback, I've had a close listen again and I think I hear what you are referring to, probably just my style I think, as we all have our own ways of playing and there's no right or wrong. I've just headed to your channel to see if you had anything that would give some additional tips but can't see you have posted anything that shows your style unfortunately, just lots of playlists of others' videos. I take all feedback on board, maybe have a listen to my next video when I post one and let me know if you think there are any improvements. If not, we all have our likes and dislikes. Thank you!

@@egorrudakov799 thank you, I hope college is going well, enjoy it as the time goes very quickly! My background is clarinet, but sax gives a lot more opportunities to play a huge variety of music. Jazz is not my strong point! But I enjoy trying 😁. Good luck with your studies!

It's a Hanson, just their student model, very good value! Although it has taken me a few months to get to this stage with it! Little secret... I use a tenor reed! 😂

@@SavvySaxy absolutely! Might not work for everyone, I just find it gives a nicer tone and helps my intonation, you just need to make sure it's aligned just right as it won't sit as easily on the mouthpiece as an actual alto reed. Let me know what you think if you try it! ☺️

I actually gig on the Roland, it has some awesome sounds for synths and brass (but I'm not a fan of the sax sounds on the electric instruments)! I don't gig with the YDS, that's just for quiet playing at midnight or to take on holiday! You'll see on my channel that I do actually play acoustic sax too so these instruments don't replace them, but are a fun addition to my little sax family! Appreciate your comments, it's interesting to see people's opinions. ☺️
