Kudus is a major marked-target of any opponent WestHam plays with, it wise for the coach to pair him with someone equally good as Kudus, who will outrun the defenders while they focus on Kudus.

Kudus' performance has been on a downturn since the afcon last year 2024, way before Moyes was fired. I hv been saying all along this while, that he really needs to improve esp defensively. He stopped helping out the lb or rb as much as he used to, even under Moyes. I think he's become too comfortable and complacent; he needs to be humble. Secondly, he's too selfish and I wasn't surprised when the previous west ham coach took a dig at him and suggested he isn't a teamplayer. If he loses the ball he doesn't track back. I m sure if he takes these criticisms in good faith and fixes them, he will move to the next level.
