This video describes the basic features of the Framework Programme 7 project Capmix.
Capmix is a collaborative research project combining the strength of 6 partners from 5 different European Countries.
The aim of the project is to develop a new technology for the extraction of Salinity Gradient Energy, the energy available from the mixing of sea and river water.
In this project, selective porous electrodes are used to extract this renewable energy.
