I have one more question what part of the country do they grow in ? So I can never come across one
I've never seen one I hope I never do I always wondered how people get these huge splinters in them when they handle wood. I found out. I bought a couple two by sixes to repair something when I picked up the wood I ended up getting a splinter in my thumb I tried to pull it out cuz I thought it was just a little itty bitty thing I couldn't get it out so I put a Band-Aid on it until I can get home to take you out got a pair of tweezers sterilized everything try to keep everything you know fairly clean and sanitized I took a pair of tweezers pulled it out about fell over it was an 1 inch and a half that spinner with my thumb so slick I cannot imagine what those things would you do a person if they had it fall on them or they would run into it that's awfu. l I don't ever want to see one
Triped and fell on one of those when i was 2 i still limp today it webt thrugh my leg and nee cap and into my calf

How long does this usually take you?
There's little over 6 acres. I do sections at a time Being I have parkinson's and no power steering. It takes me about 3 hrs or so.

Question: Does the PTO have to be on for live system feed line to operate?
No it doesn't.
I’m an 8N newbie that is working on an old early 8N. Sorry for this dumb question. Is there a practical use for the front mount hydraulic pump setup you put on for an 8N that never had a front loader? It looks like it just recirculates the fluid. Could I run a log splitter with it, like from a tee on the front? Thanks for a great video
@@yogibeer9319if I'm understanding right. Your Wanting to run a log splitter off the same front mount pump used for the 3 point live power. Ford 8N internal pump was only rated around 3gpm. A log splitter requires around 12gpm. My current setup won't run a log splitter. But you could get a pto driven hydraulic pump that could stay hooked to the log splitter with its own hydraulic tank.
@@parkinsbikesandoutdoors How would you need to set up the hoses to be able to hook up a hydraulic accessory like a log splitter? Would it just be a matter of putting a T quick connect on both the supply and suction side?
I would like to have live hydraulics and be able to hook up other accessories to those hydraulics.
