What a gorgeous one!
Europeans become experts in the countries they colonize, as if the natives knew nothing.
Kalau saya ambil bambu lalu memukul kepalanya
Chubba chubba chubba choo choo-
WOW!!! H U G E ! Looks like a lady? But she is beautiful. They are actually graceful. Thank you ASI, glad you're there to help them survive humans😊
This is a nice big boy. Notice how long and tapered the tail is. Females have short, stubby tails.

Beautiful snake 🐍 lucky to have a beautiful bulge in his belly to show off god I wish my belly was that full after eating
Sweet how you tap it to unwind into freedom. Thank you for sharing
Is it true that their venom is just as potent as a black mamba’s?
The venom has a very similar action to mamba venom. Black Mambas have a larger quantity of venom, so in general bites are worse from Mambas. But this is the most potent cobra in Africa and bites are serious.
@@africansnakebiteinstitute I appreciate you for answering my question, because I really wanted to know.

One of my favorite species of all time. I think its so interesting that the females in some areas care for their hatchlings for a short time. I hope to see a Southern African python in person someday. As far as I know, we don't have this species in the USA at all. Not even at zoos. We have Python Sebae, but not Python Natalensis. Due to import laws, that means we probably never will. Anyways, beautiful snake!
They are a beautiful species. They are protected in most southern African countries, so unlikely they will be legally exported.
Where can I get this book
From our online shop here: www.africansnakebiteinstitute.com/shop/books/snakes-snakebite-in-southern-africa-2024_edition/
Why did it give Up it's lunch
Often when snakes are stressed they will get rid of their meal so they can move easier to defend themselves or escape. We removed this snake from a house and although we were gentle hoping it would keep the meal down, it eventually gave it up.
Pragtige POF Hy is hastig oppad Dankie so hastig wat hy is Moet bid jy en hy ontmoet nie op n onwelkome oomblik nie Daai krag wat jou ontmoet as hy byt Gevaarlike Dankie vir video dis pragtig

They are amazing. Very calculating
Creepy.
Angry this little fellow He is full of karate tricks He is so fast and dangerous Thanks nice video
Angry, but beautiful! Asif it is saying....don't mess with me
I'm more scared of Cape Cobras than of Mambas. 😮
They are definitely dangerous, but usually give you good warning or move off away from people.
Attacking mode! Thank you ASI, appreciate this beautiful scene
So pragtig poseer hy Pragtige foto Dankie
Gorgeous footage.
It's easy with such a beautiful subject.
Man Blandings do not play! I used to have one about this size, those things are legit MEAN. Pretty bad bite too for a rear fanged, I do believe they could kill a small person if they held on long enough, it’s basically Krait venom I read. Heavy medium Venomous if I could put it on a scale, this and the African Black Treesnake (Occidentalis) both lowkey scared me and I’ve had tons of snakes over the years. Every time I’d hold ‘em thing would legit try to kill me, they’re smart too, they’ll climb their whole body mouth gaped aimed right at your hands holding too
This is one friend you bordering not with He means business Thanks for this video to deal with me
Latch those handles before you move that, please!
Or its a snouted cobra
It's a large Cape Cobra (Naja nivea).
Isnt that a spitting cobra?
Cannot wait for the Bootcamp!!! #Level2 here we come!!!
Will be great to have you on the course again.
This nice gentleman you do it right I'm Injoy it feels I'm stands next of you
Feisty cape cobra!!!
Are Shieldnose snakes and Southern African coral snakes "true" cobras? Some guides call them cobras.
They are in the same family as mambas and cobras (Elapidae) but are in their own genus Aspidelaps, so they are not cobras.
@@africansnakebiteinstituteOh I see. Cobras are in the "naja" genus. Even the King Cobra in Asia is in a different genus.
That is ONE ANGRY SNAKE! Beautiful too. Thank you for sharing
NOT A FOK💀
Gorgeous!
Cameraman is even immune to venomous bites.... crazy
These snakes have a very short striking distance, so the cameraman was safe.
@@africansnakebiteinstitute issa joke
Brown house snake love them they make a good pet snake
Boomslang
A red lip snake also known as a harild snake
That must be a egg eater or a brown house snake because I see it is been handed by hand so it is not venomous
It is a venomous Mozambique Spitting Cobra. Some snakes can be handled by the tail in a safe manner if the person has experience.

WOW! That is massively BIG! The triangle head is like a warming sign. Thank you for sharing
There is not really a lot to fear from them. They have no interest in attacking people unless they feel threatened. They do feel threatened pretty easily though. This species does care for their young for a short time though. That is highly unusual for a snake, especially a python species. If anything they are unusually caring for a snake. They are also smarter and more observant and aware than most other python species. Really amazing animals IMO. They WILL happily eat your chickens though if they arent secured though haha! Southern African pythons are fond of birds, but they aren't too picky either. They will sometimes eat peoples small pigs or goats too if they are big enough. They are certainly a threat to small to medium farm animals, but not so much to humans. Especially not if you give them their space. Even when they do strike, half the time its just a short "bluff strike" that they dont even try to hit with. They are just trying to scare people into leaving them alone before they actually bite. They do not actually want to get in a fight with a human at all.
非常に不愉快だ!非常に気持ちが悪い!即刻放映禁止にせよ!
Beautiful!🤩
Pray that I never cross paths with it! Luckily, they do not have the attitude of the spotted skaapsteker: they like to bite! The ones in the Western part of the country
