Sir, I see you regularly on LinkedIn, you are constantly uploading videos on your TH-cam channel, but your channel is not growing despite the quality of the videos being very good, because the videos are not SEO, I thought I would send you a message, and if you agree. I would like to discuss how to grow your channel

Which is the best university for masters in cybersecurity which is ranked and has maximum placement
Great session. Noticed Jonathan and Ben both referenced standard job titles that recruiters are using to look for candidates. (eg when discussing Senior Lead Test Analyst - put in brackets "Test Lead"). Is there somewhere to go that shows what people are searching for on LinkedIn or a reference to where 'standard' job titles for Aussie roles exist.

Pretty much I did the same. Colour coded, status of application, contact person, contract / perm, salary/rate requested, agent/client, etc. 200+ application is pretty crazy, my max was around 67, One of my friend got hist first job after ~760 applications.

Hard to see how this isn’t just a technical BA. I’ve never understood what EA’s did except slow everything down for dev teams.

I got fired too years ago. He is probably dead now. Just a show of authority to others that they could face the same fate! Union action was hopeless. The company does not exist any longer. Thank Christ. Like all manufacturing plants the business went to Asia!
My wife runs a large team within an IT recruitment firm Whizdom Recruitment... the challenge with Australia is that most IT jobs are centralised within Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. There is a smaller market in Brisbane and Perth, but these are who you know. IT is very small market in Australia compared to other countries like the UK. Take a look at Whizdom Recruitment.
Here is my take, I am an international student who graduated with both bachelor and masters from an Australian institute, and from what I see about the tech market in Australia, it's highly competitive as the employers do not have any shortage to replace you. Secondly some jobs require security clearance which only citizens can obtain, and the third, most employers are looking for experienced people, not some fresher who just graduated. Tough times ahead for the tech workers.
Your video popped up on my YT page haphazardly. The title intrigued me and checked out the duration and decided to watch. Glad I did it. You just resonate my first few years in Australia. I had studied psychology at a top uni in Turkey and I ended up doing many relevant amd semi-relevant jobs in my first few years. Having studied my degree in English back in Turkey, my English was OK but the whole thing was on another level. Realising that I would not be able to get out of the vicious circle of part-timing here and there I decided to back to uni. Luckily I met my future PhD advisor who became a great mentor for me and the whole scene has changed. later on, I moved to the States where it was a lot easier to find jobs but Australia felt a lot better always - despite the challenges you already know. I have been working in Cyprus for a while now as well. Even though job-hunting felt really harsh at the beginning in Australia, having survived in such a challenging enviroment where opportunities are incomparably fewer than elsewhere, whereever I went I adapted well . Nowadays I miss Australia heaps so most likely will be back in a foreseeable future. BTW: one of my research interests is accented speech and relevant issues. You just sound damn fine. yes you do have an accent but you speak perfectly clearly and more importantly, you got the gist of it: speak simple and clear. Anyway, nice to have run into this and all the best from Cyprus.
Thank you for sharing your story!
