Lookin awesome!
Love the blues together, and all the colors you chose. At first I was very confused because I didn't see the "Part 1" lol. Great work as usual!
Thank you! The colors were random, the guys over at polymaker was told to send me random colors 😂
@kanrogcreations Honestly, they fit together better than I would've thought if I had only seen a list of the colors. I'm clutching my wallet in fear of starting another rook in those two blues just because pretty lol. I'm doing one in their UV magenta ABS and glitter black ABS currently.
Ooh
Hi, i want to Rebuild my Chiron the Bedsize is 400*400 Z i want to have 450. Do it works with it too ? Thank You
Should be fine, use the 12t Z-axis
@@kanrogcreations you mean in the File Z the all 4. 12 t geared left/right/rear files ? And can it get build with fix Bed lile the voron 2.4 that the Z is moving
@@nihasdreiacht if doing the 12T version, then all the pulleys on the Z-axis will be 12T. This will not be able to be a fixed bed printer, that will be a completely different design. Rolohaun is working on one called the Pegasus.
Starrrrt wearing Purple, wearing purple
Can someone explain to me what makes a bed get that white layer? Feel like I've seen it elsewhere as well, or something that looked similar. Is it repeated gluing? Mostly wondering because I clean and glue my bed every single time with my X1.. and maybe I don't actually need to be lol
It's an adhesive that I use called Dimafix. I can wash it off, but I rarely do 🤗
@@kanrogcreations Okay, interesting. Had a feeling I was wasting time making my bed pristine every time. I'll look into that, thanks!
@@kanrogcreations One more question, do you just fill back in the spots where it sticks to the part? or do another layer overall?
I just fill the bed every once in a while. This bed absorbs it and I don't have to use that much. It's a carbon fibre bed plate.
@@kanrogcreations ahh I hadn't thought of that being better at holding the adhesives.
Anything planned for changing to mark 2 from mk1 kits? both normal and 2020
There is a plan to launch 2020 MK2 addon kits at some point.
looks nice will ldo do a 2020 conversion kit?
Yes! Later this year 😉👍
Is that a mini-fridge Kanrog? 😂
That would be cool! But no, it's a LIXHULT cabinet from IKEA 😉
I buy them in Ali and i got like 20 haha, already replaced in a new hgx like yours
That’s LDO Kit! 🎉
I thought from the video title you were going to be planing some wood, LOL typo's eh! I built a Pro 3D V-King 400 from the very best self sourced quality parts I could get ,about 3 years ago, at the time the Voron kits were not very good and never 100% in stock and many part had to be replaced with better quality ones. My V-King is an awesome and extremely reliable printer and fast, not as fast as my X1C ,but when I built it this printer it was the bees knees, plus I had easy access to the designer Roy if I needed any help, but his documentation and videos provided everything. I fancy building a Rook, it would be fun and for small prints would save electricity.
Rooks are really fun little printers, The Rook 2020 takes it a step further with a aluminium profile frame too. I highly recommend building one!
Good progress
Wrapping up my Rook MK1 from Fabreeko using your videos. Hope to be printing tomorrow. If it goes well, I think I'm going to pick up the LDO one, if the price is right.
Dont think I'm allowed to say🤫
delta-flyer skirts ftw! \o/
Nope :)
Pegasus build
Nope :)
Printing a part of a skirt?
Yep :)
Not satisfied with the bambu hot end?
Jw because that's what I'm building into mine.
My scalable is flying with the Bambu. My MK2 needs a little more flow 😆
@kanrogcreations you're really tricking that thing out, so sick. I had built the single 5015 head but decided today I wanted the cpap, dont give me too many ideas lol
@@Decapent_Tater I'll make a more detailed video as soon as I'm happy with it :)
What's that toolhead set-up?
Its my own design to fit the bambu onto my existing setup as quickly as possible :)
another rook? lol
Maaaybee?? :D
@@kanrogcreations knew it... XD
Thanks for the great video, I will be trying to install Klipper first on my E3 pro + SKR mini e3 v3, and then will be jumping back to your instructions to finish up the setup with the microprobe. BTW this was the only video describing the setup in such great detail (or at least the only one that i was able to find). Will report back whether it was successful. Cheers!
Glad I could help 😉
What's the difference between MR63ZZ and SMR63ZZ? MR63ZZ seems to be even cheaper 🤔
I believe the S is sealed
@@kanrogcreations Ah okay, makes sense. Thanks.
@@kanrogcreations Actually, I messaged the seller and they replied "SMR63ZZ is stainless steel bearing, while MR63ZZ is chrome steel bearing".
@@xKenn Good to know!
This freaking awesome! Thank you! Starting my build today. This was super clear and easy to follow. Great job!
Glad it helped!
ze idler towers could be made from sheet metal...
That is a possibility, yes
46 bucks? Each? How much did it really cost?
The total for me was around 150.
hey i was wondering what motors and voltage you were running through those motors?
2004S @1.6A
@@kanrogcreations thanks. I'm buiilding a corexy vzbot and I such your very impressive acceleration. I was also wondering, in your opinion do ldo motors matter as in high quality matter because I've been struggling to get similar performance out of my steppers. They can only go about 11k acc and 400mm/s on a awd gantry
Motors make a big difference, yes!
Dang those looks so clean. That purple is sooo 😍
Yay for CNC belt cradle!
It helps a lot with the tension I'm running 😎
@@kanrogcreations What tension are you running with this new setup?
Haven't measured, but it's uncomfortably tight 🤣
@@kanrogcreations Thats what she said
Make it even cooler and fancy with progressive metal.
Can we get some power metal?
I have been using HGX lite on my hurakan as a direct extruder for several months now. Got my 2nd set works just as well for 2nd printer and also bought some spare gears sets and printed the housing works just as well with a lighter weight. Will get 3rd on my Flsun SR as direct extruder too soon. Thanks for making this video as least I know of the issue❤
I can’t build them as fast as you guys can design them!!! Great work on the video :)
Maybe I missed something, but aren't you supposed to set the offset between when the Z probe clicks, and the nozzle itself? When I was doing the probe_calibrate I'm pretty sure the probe wasn't triggering (clicking) at all and I was just setting an offset for the z axis and not the probe itself?
That's what I'm doing on the first layer. I don't trust my measuring, the first layer is the best visual tool there is to set this value.
@@kanrogcreations oh, I see. ty for such a fast reply
I confirm, stock bearings are very loose. SMR63ZZ much better.
Hey very nice guide.. I am trying to follow. I have the original Ender 3 (Manta E3 EZ + CB1).. but when I put "Probe_Calibrate" I get an error "Probe Triggered prior to movement." Any suggestion?
You might have to invert or lift the pin. Either a "!" or a "^" in front of the pin name.
Great video good sir. Makes me want to build one.
Seems like a solid kit
Awesome video!
Good to know
chuuuuuuuuubes!😂
Awesome Kanrog! My MK2 build is (nearly) complete and I also went with new West3D Berserker rails. Great minds think alike….😄
Very cool!
Maybe this could be converted in to a delta due to the 3 axis unit being the same and klipperise it.
Absolutely an option!
They are just not worth the money, not even for the novelty factor!
Its certainly not for everyone, no. To me, its 100% worth the money, just for the fun of it :)
Change the mainboard (if even possible), klipper it, make it a core xz printer :D maybe add a cheap V6 hotend and a better extruder... lol I'm really thinking about getting one of these little crappy things and try to mod the hell out of it :D
I want to try and klipperize the stock board first. I have a few options on other hotends for it too. I do have a SKR pico to throw in there if I cant get the stock board to flash klipper. But main problem now is the lack of bearings. Ill try to design a printable fix for that.
@@kanrogcreations Sounds good! But I think you will need the pico, I guess that board they use won't be able to handle Klipper. But I am for sure waiting to see what you will come up with :D Would be amazing if you'd be able to make this little thing work like a charm. for the bed... would a V0 bed fit on there?
V0 bed will work fine, but I won't do a heated bed, the one that's on there is actually really good.
Klipper it up
It's the plan 🤣
i'm only here for the memes. 🤣
love that thing, cant wait to see you modify it 🤣
This little K9 printer is pretty cool! I look forward to seeing what you do with it.
You and me both! 🤣
Found this because that bearing wasn`t assembled in mine at all. Was wondering why my gears wobble like crazy. Luckily there was bearing one in the spare bag. Very helpfull. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
