Only thing missing from the trump regime is the uniforms, unless you count the tactical mall soldier fit as the uniform :/
Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no-one comes to God except through Me (John 14:6). Jesus wants you to to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Only by repenting of sin and trusting in Jesus to guide your life are you spiritually safe for all eternity. I encourage you to prayerfully read The Holy Bible ❤
tolles Filmchen, perfekt um es im Englischunterricht zugucken😉
My date dumped me at homecoming, so I went out to the highway & hitched a ride home. The guy started touching me so I beat him with the only thing I had-my brush. He ended up dumping me on the side of the road. I walked a long way in high heels that night. I was mad and stupid. I NEVER did that again. I never told my parents. It was a miracle I WASN’T raped. Thank you God for protecting me!
In 2024 its the woke Left fascist protesting Jews and Israel on most Ivy League campuses. Instead of burnimg books they tear down statues. Hitler also banned guns in 1936. Another woke Left pipe dream. America knows who the REAL fascists are which is why Democrats LOST on election day😊🇺🇸
your insane and know nothing what this is trying to say.
Thank you! A truly great production/performance I'm glad to find here. Sample text of Cather's closing the story: "...the folly of his haste occurred to him with merciless clearness, the vastness of what he had left undone...."
As far fetch the concept of this musical is, it doesn't poke fun at the church but somehow makes sense. It would be awesome to see this musical have a revival run on Broadway.
Hitchhiking resulted in way more marriages than it ever did murders.
I love this musical
Thanks to my sophomore history teacher Mr. Jenkins for introducing me to this movie.
This kinda reminds me of that teacher who did the blue vs brown eyes experiment. Look it up if you're not familiar its awesome stuff
Just shows how anyone can be controlled if done in a certain way hence domestic violence , gangs & cults and so on
Descibing USA well.
1:50a.m. (CT) Wed. Jan. 8, 2025 This is still an awesome, true story.
Nope
I always loved this movie
Great video 🎉
It’s sad that that happened to her but to me she seemed like she gotten over it real quick! She was like it was no big deal to her! In the real world the victim would have been shooken up and traumatized for weeks to come! They certainly wouldn’t have been smiling and yucking it up with their little brother!
Yes the Old South is dead...the number of mixed race children born out of wedlock proves that.
22:12 "I like to just jerk it off if I could"
We need these back and updated for today
Great movie title thats my name too and ive never been a heavy daily drinker but seem to have to contend with other people alcohol problems. Just use and abuse
Marie was 19 when this film was released.
I hitched with friends in the 70s. Got picked up by an ice cream truck once that was pretty cool. We thought we were invincible but I am grateful to God for protecting me. Never alone though. I never would have hitched alone. But now the world is that much worse. Not safe for anyone today sadly.
I'm out the door leaving after school gone forever left and never came back maybe someday if I don't die the earth journey everywhere every country
As an 80s child, I was lucky. My parents were both children of severe childhood abuse. And both made the choice to break the cycle. That said, my father is a Marine Vietnam Vet. When he spoke, you listened. EDIT: Cant count how often I stood with my nose stuffed in a corner, though. 😂
Of all my addictions, alcohol has proved the hardest to quit aside from smoking. When you feel numb inside its just an easy out for the circling thoughts. Getting better. Hoping New Years that I can tackle this problem with a Resolution and a good support group. Edit: That said, they really should bring back these specials, but deal with todays problems - TikTok Challenges, Screen time, vaping, internet scammers, catfishers, etc etc etc.
I first learned about hitchhiking as a kid while watching the Tiny Toons movie. That dude was SCARY. I never hitchhiked OR picked one up bc dude in the cartoon stuck with me.
This is exactly what the pro Pali stuff that is happening in university and college campuses now is.
The mother reminds me of my own mom (Elizabeth Hinze, 1931-2014) who never drank but was quite an incurable narcissist and who was great at yelling like this mom is!!
VERY SIMILAR TO THE COVID-19 "PANDEMIC". In this film, we see similarities between how Hitler gained control, and the kids in this school. Hitler got kids to follow his directives, as did this teacher Hitler got kids to turn in those who didn't confirm. As did this teacher. A few years ago, COVID set up one man to tell us what to do, Dr. Fauchi Like Hitler and the teacher in this film, Fauchi created a propaganda campaign. He convinced folks to mask up, double mask, to be afraid of each other, and even turn in neighbors who didn't comply.
I loved these after-school specials in the 80's when I was a kid😊
"Freddy" looks like an older Corey Haim at the time.
I used to think Scott Baio was the king of after-school specials but Rob Stone from Mr. Belvedere is even more I think. Thank you for posting. I loved growing up before social media and main stream cell phones👍
🙄...am I the only one always entirely dissatisfied by the "Happy Ending" of this olde Henry O story?
Franz did alright too. That babe he meets on the boat was hot stuff
The actress in this also plays in some lifetime movies about the same thing. She has been an advocate her whole career.
The Barbara Thorndyke backstory 😅
Good episide, I like this show but please, add an episode "Fawn story"
No matter how much foster parents love a foster child/adopted child, they have the obligation to teach that child to respect the birth parents. No matter what kind of people they are, either one or both decided to let the child be born. But really, the child, if old enough is the one who should decide who he/she wants to live with, but joint custody or an arrangement for the child to see both parents is a better option. As for the birth parent(s) wanting to see their child, that is understandable, but the bond the child has built with the foster/adoptive parents must be respected and not torn apart.
Little Robbie, Little Robbie....til finally its Little Who??
Great movie. The only complaint I have is that when its members time to share they are never supposed to give advice directly in the meetings. I am a 20 year member of Al Anon.
When I was 18, myself and 3 girlfriends headed to the beach, about a 3 hours trip. We were almost there when my friend’s car broke down. The 4 of us were stranded on a 4 lane road (kinda like an interstate, but it wasn’t near as busy). This was before everyone had cell phones. And none of us had one. After about 15 minutes of talking, trying to figure out what to do, a guy pulled up behind us. He asked if we needed help. Told him we needed to get to a phone. He said he would get us to a phone. So we huddled together to decide what to do. We desperately needed a ride. So I came up with this: we would take the ride, but one of us (they decided it would be me) should tell him that we may or may not have a gun in our purse. We have absolutely no intention of using it unless he tried to kidnap or rape or kill us. He laughed and said that was fair enough. He gave us the ride. Was a very nice guy. We thanked him profusely and asked if we could take his picture so we could remember him. He said yes. Of course we never saw or heard from him again, but I still have that picture to this day. He really was our hero that day. 😊
I really feel bad for poor young teenager Alexandria. She is really hurting and also she has to contend with this woman who doesn't know her at all. She just thinks that she wants to live with her in Chicago, away from the family that has raise her taken care of all her needs and shown compassion and shown her love. This lady really has her ideas about who her daughter is and who she should be, all wrong.
She doesn't know one thing about raising a teenage girl.
She reminds me of Jennifer Love Hewitt
I read this story in my school when i was in 8th grade in our english litrature book...what those days were...ohhhh ..
This is the first time that I recognized Lisa Pelikan "Paisley" from "James At 15/16" playing "Scully's" youngest daughter.
About 20 years ago, I hitchhiked back from the airport close to my hometown in Romania, and it was the first time I did it alone. The guy said he doesn’t want money, because “we can work things out in a different way”, then he started touching my leg. I said that if he doesn’t stop the car, I will open the car door and jump. He just stopped straight away and luckily I was very close to my hometown entrance. Never again have I done that.
So mom's dating advice is be a (w)hore. Check!
