Three Reasons to get an Ornate Uromastyx
Why are you picking this thing up? It clearly doesn't want you to touch it and you even say so yourself
@@nobodynobodynobodynooobody you don't think we should tame animals? You think the world would be better off without any social animals? No dogs no cats no zoos no educational stuff. We should just have no contact with nature. I love these comments.
@@Redfootdreams33 I am not against tame animals but reptiles usually don't like human contact really much, and I think you should first get something like a bond with it? Or atleast try to learn your reptile that contact is something good and positive, by just picking it up and gripping it I don't think it will view it as something positive. I am not trying to make you feel bad or anything, the way you tried to "tame" it just didn't seem effective and also comfortable with your reptile. Again I'm not trying to be mean or make you feel bad
@nobodynobodynobodynooobody The reason that you don't think he will tame by contact and interaction with humans is that you don't know much about taming reptiles. And you don't see that I have half a dozen other reptiles that are all taming up the same way. Your opinion is wrong. Tested and wrong.
Looks nice, but the main thing I hate is trying to clean the poop out when there's substrate that big😏
@@jimmysantos4454 You're not wrong. There's always some downside. Thanks for watching my friend.
I came across your channel while searching for video new friend here
@@Crystalspets that's awesome soon maybe we'll have an exotic pet community.
It's good to see it all. 😊
A little boost of energy. A Great way to supplement the diet with a little carbohydrates to boost the energy level.
@@knotsripol after all it's pumpkin season lol and carb season 😜
I actually love all the animals, a bit more inclined to cats and dogs, but after getting snakes my god everything changed, no fur, no scratches on or the walls or the furnitures, food is cheaper for reptiles, less health issues compared to cats and dogs, no noise. its a win win for me. Also being introvert its fun to see people keep their distance from my place as they are afraid of snakes. Intreasting video, thanks for making it.
@@Shakesnakess So true! It really keeps people from coming over lol 🤣😂 thanks for watching
Thank you so much! We were debating to get one and if we do, this is very helpful. He’s so cute!❤
Thanks for watching. We can't recommend them enough. We love ours. We'll be dropping another video on em soon.
Good job. I like it.
Hello brother. Great video very informative. I so badly want to own a URO! I have been doing research and looking for places online that sell them. Specifically would like a yellow or Red Nigerian. Most of the places online seem safe to purchase from, but there are a few that others say to stay away from. What would you recommend and if anything when would you start breeding them 🙌🏽 would be happy to be your first customer.
@@rubenescobar1190 Hey thanks so much we're just learning this TH-cam thing. We love Uromastyx we're not gonna be breeding for probably another 2 years. I would say go to reptile expos and reptile stores to see if you can find one that you can see and look for good signs and behaviors. Otherwise just pick a dealer that you think is reputable and it's always a gamble but more than likely with good care and a vet visit you'll be perfect.
i have a dog, a bird & many turtles & 3 tortoises. Each one has a unique personality & I love them all!
@@sonjasisco8064 That's awesome thanks for watching
Love your videos! Thank you!
Thanks so much for sticking with us!
I love the wiggle lol 😆
Such a beautiful boy😊
@@MamaJ1997 Yea he's awesome subscribe we got way more where that came from.

@@elizaevans6098 That's Ruben Leroux the Red Tegu. We got a lot of videos with him.
The lil guy shot that camera “the look” at the end
We call that the Head Whip 😂
Funny!!!
Hilarious!!!

@@420frogo Ernie's is about 8pm
Love you videos!
Yeah planning on a over hall for my bearded dragon just scared to try a custom background
@@TheGenericDragonKeeper nothing to worry about either Styrofoam and a hot wire tool or the spray foam is cool too.
"They're still in the tank and not dead right, RIGHT?!"
@@Yushen-ep1qo lol sometimes it takes a minute to find em.
Can you share the breeder that you grabbed yours? Do you know which Uromastyx specie is this one?
@@Berecutecu I went to j&j reptiles in Knoxville Tennessee. It's an Ornate Uromastyx or Uromastyx Ornata
@@Redfootdreams33 Thank you! Any downsides in this journey or all happiness with the new friend?
@@Berecutecu he's perfect
@@Redfootdreams33 Awesome! You are a lucky man
So sweet! I love leopard geckos
SO CUTE PET U HAVE ALSO IM SUBSCRIBED❤❤❤❤❤
Do you must your red foot? What temperature is his enclosure?
Yea we mist him. We also have a fogger which keeps him at 80 to 90 percent humidity. Sometimes we turn it down. We like to change it up sometimes. His bask is about 100 usually and he has a gradient of 70s 80s and 90s. Are you getting a Redfoot?
@ I have 2 I got about a year ago. I mist them several times a day & try to soak them 2 times a week.I put them outside when the weather was warm but now it is getting down to 45 at night (California) & their heated house doesn’t get that warm. I guess I’ll be bringing them in soon.
Yo u don’t have to clean ur reptiles with brushes or anything and using sink water is a no go you should do more research
@@shanebaxley5217 These are healthy well cared for creatures and I encourage you to do what works for you. Having said that, don't believe all that you read online my friend.
@ sure just no point to scrub ur animals besides maybe your tortoise lmao and nah ur using sink water which contains chlorine in any maybe different things that isn’t good for your animals I bet you let your reptile drink sink water and nah it’s after many years of experiencing and learning not looking on internet but u keep scrubbing the skin off your animals weirdo
So beautiful!! And yeah, aren't they always looking for a way out?!!😂😂❤❤❤❤
FECK! that’s a nice gecko
@@76jimbob he's gonna be a good one I think.
❤❤❤
I'd love to see how target training works on the baby tegu! I've started on my tortoise and can get her to walk out of her cave and make contact with a ball - then she gets a treat.
I’m debating b&w tegu or a banana pectinata because by the time he’s grown I’ll have atleast a 8 foot enclousure ready but he might be a little annoying bugger too I want to raise him from hatchling tho or her I don’t know but I just want one diets a little fun
@@TheGenericDragonKeeper both amazing lizards most people don't know about the pectinata. Bravo 👌
I’m debating now I’m thinking and leaning towards collars lizards but these guys just seem so awesome and chill next time once my bearded dragon who is only 5 right now is gone which I know is enviable I’m likely not getting another I think I’ll get a uro
@@TheGenericDragonKeeper they're awesome for sure
❤❤❤
OK, another stupid reptile question. 😅 Do the reptiles "hear" you??? What are their "senses "? Thank you. 😊
Nice set-ups
@@Povole thanks 👍 stick with us we're just getting started.

@@Redfootdreams33oh I will one day! Unfortunately I have very little room in my apartment at the moment. But Uromastyx and red footed tortious are my dream “retirement” reptiles. That’s why I love your page so much 😅
You should show how you glued the styrofoam onto board & show how you painted it (you can speed it up). It does look good!
