Can we talk about the funds this town receives for 1 full time position and 1 part time position for 5 unsolved murders? Seems it would not benefit this community to shine light on that reality, or the reality that the Rental Housing Crime Free Ordinance imposed by the sheriff on this community only revictimizes domestic violence victims, while Shriver Institute is seeking to overturn these pathetic ordinances. Tinley is just an extension of corruption at the state level all the way down to municipal government. Solve Lane Bryant murders and we will believe there is actual transparency in Tinley.

So this is why Glotz is politically violating Rita's Fourth Amendment right to free speech and literally banning him from attending public events in Tinley, claiming he's a political figure, but the sheriffs in attendance are not? Wow, Tinley your village is corrupt. This mayor is violation of 42 U.S.C Section 1983 is so blatantly obvious and this pr stunt is ridiculous. Focus on solving Lane Bryant murders before literally whining to the public about your political stunts to censor political opponents. A senior living community is not profitable for the state. Racinos are! Follow the money and trace back history of political silence in this town all the way back to Lane Bryant murders. Not shocking!

So basically the park district manages to quit with the BS and get something done in 1/11th of the time. And yet the Current board hides plans and ruins oak Park Ave, completely ruining Tinley Parks History and making it look god awful. Losing businesses faster than a ghetto, Police department mass quitting. The entire tinley board should resign because they do not act for the people of the Village.

Mayor Glotz , your transparency in this instance is to be applauded. Politics is a very messy business that often forgets that it is the people (the citizens) whose safety and well-being should be placed first. That is a wonderful property at a very accessible location. It can have a sports center, theater, and restaurants that would be beneficial to the village and the citizens of Tinley Park. We have to flex and show that we can compete with the likes of Napervile and other suburbs when it comes to businesses, schools, and quality of life. This would be a great place to lure the "Windy City Bulls" to. Just saying . . . .

Thank you very much for the information and for using facts and data. So many people get brain washed based on speculation and rumors. Ultimately, we all want the property to be developed to it's best use and without negatively affecting tax payers. It's a shame it has been mired in politics and personality disputes.
