I Walked London's UNDERWATER Foot Tunnel
I couldn't help but chortle at you walking down Whitehall talking about how the road is lined with war memorials and the Cenotaph but you didn't note the fact that right behind you was the Ministry of Defence.
😂 oh well hahaha
Great video, all exciting stuff. Have you been to the Brooklands Museum, near Weybridge, which has the motor racing track and racing car museum. I’d actually gone to see the London Bus Museum, which is on the site, fascinating in itself. There is also a kind of aviation museum too with various commercial flight planes and a Concorde, which you can go on!! To do the site/all the museums you’d need three good days to see it all.
That sounds amazing! There’s so many Museums I still need to visit! I’d love to go to an aviation museum!
I went in the foot/cycle tunnel on my recent trip to Hamburg, and we have one here in Tyneside too - you should visit it if you’re ever in the area!
Great video, this looked very exciting 😀
Thank you :) Yes it was so awesome!
Championship you say..... 👀
👀
London doesn’t sleep but it’s cool to see the place when it’s quieter
Oh absolutely !
I think you've got the Union Flag upside down on the picture at the start.
where are all the people?
It’s 4am I mean I know London don’t sleep but there ain’t many residential places in that area so there is no reason for someone to be there
You look like you are the little brother of Olympian gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik 😂😂
Straight to Google Images I go....
Back from Google and.... Omg 🤣
@@JoeDanHirst There is definitely a resemblance. Cheers 😂
Another great video 😀, I didn't know there was a whole shopping centre inside the dome! (I thought it was just the arena inside).
Reminds me of the odyssey in Belfast
It was built to celebrate the year 2000! - the Millennium Dome! I did visit when it opened but I cannot say I remember what was in it! 😂 I think it was a commercial flop, some may say! It is built like a circus tent and the plan was to take it back down and redevelop the site, as much is finally being done around there now, but it stayed!!! And has been repurposed a few times over its life. Yesterday, I thought, why would anybody want to walk over the top of it? - when you can walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge, like I did this last February, which must be much higher than even the cable cars near by!! 😊
And they also made the effort to repair it when it got damaged in that storm a while back! I shall have to do that when I visit Australia one day!
Crazy… I did that yesterday!! Took the Clipper from near the Tate Modern and onto ‘Boris Johnson’s’ cable cars (as I call them!) - there was hardly anybody using them, had a pod to myself. Did you see that huge black sculpture of a man with no head? I then took a front seat ride on the DLR back into London!
Yes I did see that incredible sculpture! Very impressive!
1:20 how dare you call me old by asking "wasn't it called the millennium dome before!!" Ofcorse it was! It was its sole purpose 💀
My bad, my bad haha
Can u talk about hary boter😊 1:27
Another fabulous video and I love your content. The Millennium Dome was built and designed to celebrate the millennium and this was the best we could come up with!
Thank you!!
Hah! It used to be called the Millennium Dome as it was built FOR the new millennium. It used to be (entirely) a sciencey/futuristic-type interactive museum inside, built to celebrate the beginning of the third millennium. Thousands (if not more) of schools did day trips there. The arena/shops/commercialisation is a repurpose.
Oh wow how fascinating! I had no idea about the previous museum use of it! We visited it as we were passing by so thought we'd pop in! Thanks for your comment :)
Pov @fmp346 made a video here recently
River bus next
Yer but how much does a Rail Card cost ....... and are they usable on ALL train networks
Ahh bonus energy too!
deep
The British Museum is free, but there are always tons and tons of people there.
Nice video, the views from the cable car look amazing 😀
It's a pretty awesome sight!!
You were in my city? What? Please come back haha
Interesting Content sir @Joe Dan Hirst.
Thank you for... video
Honestly, when it used to be £5 it was actually good value but now, £6 seems a bit steep even if its only a pound.. idk
Oh wow, yeah the £1 extra doesn’t make it seem as appealing! Especially knowing it was once cheaper!
@@JoeDanHirst crazy how when I used to use 11-15 it once was only £2
just found your channel and so far its awesome, im slowly making my way through your content, keep up the awesome work : )
Thank you so much!! I will do 😁
wow, what AI programe did you use?
Another fantastic video, looks like a great experience 👍
It's an amazing experience
Thank you! Yes it’s really fun :)
W video! Might have to check it out myself How long is the journey?
Only 7 minutes unfortunately but still a great experience
Thank you!! Go for it 😄 Around 7 mins as @transportforluka says!
Keep these coming, loving these videos
4:48 ...unless its a trick of the light or something else that'd make more sense - shooting star?
I have a Rail Staff Travel card which gives me 75% off, so even the original £1 ticket is only 25p. Has to be some perks for working on the railway XD
not showing the beacon thats right on the left of the station in luton is crazy 😅
The Victoria line gives me a headache
That was real cool, pity you didn't see a fox!
at 1:36 is that the same policeman (Ray Dagg) that turned up to shut down the Beatles during their rooftop concert in Saville Row, that can be seen in the get back documentary?
Oh wow imagine if it is, I need to check now haha
I’m yet to search around using the image I use in the video, however looking at pictures of Dagg and my video they do like very alike! I would have to find the date of the picture I included
That was anticlimactic, but I like it. Nice!
And there was me thinking the smallest building in London was the machine gun emplacement that defends Putney Bridge Station from a World War II invasion across the railway bridge.
That sounds incredible! I’m not familiar with that place, I’ll check it out!
londonist.com/london/transport/where-on-the-tube-can-you-see-a-wwii-gun-emplacement
Great video Keep them up
Thank you 😁
GG
gg wp :D
Very interesting, I wasn't expecting the smallest house to be that small 😂 I enjoyed this video a lot, it would be great to see you visit more interesting places like this!
Thank you 😄 More coming up!
If only all trains were £1, I would definitely have brought a house by now lol
Another interesting video, keep them coming. I hope it’s as nice as that walking across Hyde Park next week to the Royal Albert Hall for a couple of Proms concerts I’m going to - and yes, I am going to Prom!! Talking of convents, I’m also staying in a convent next week too!
I didn’t know the proms were on at the moment! Oh wow, what’s the occasion for staying in a convent?
need to see the smallest park now
It's just a singular blade of grass
The British Museum or The National Gallery?
You are very correct, that is my bad! It's the National Gallery!
