thank you for letting me enjoy my lifelong quest. since I was 8 yrs in kentucky. After raising kid, My time is now my own. I never knew the internet would be the way!! My first serious investigation was w/ a school paper on it w/ a quest thru encyclopedia britannica. lol
I recorded this in my friends basement studio and if you listen closely right at the beginning before the song starts you can hear a truck go by in the background who knows it might even be Bobo himself...
Good report Sharon! One of the most interesting I've heard in a long time and close to home. That Squatch might have been going after dog food in the guys backyard if he leaves it out there for his dog.
the foot size (19.5") and the height (5'8" = 66") don't sync up. sounds like there might have been 2, or else this bigfoot's feet were equal to 1/3 of it's height--a humongousfoot. or he just got the details mixed up. i love the eyewitness accounts!
OK - according to a letter Green wrote to Titmus Sept 7, 1967, Don Abbott didn't arrive until Weds eve (Aug 30) and didn't see the tracks until Thur. Aug 31. So, the slide that states Sept 1st was most likely from that very date and not a developing date. Abbott also “got five men from Humboldt State to come out Friday.” Friday was Sept 1st.
Thanks for all the info Steven. I have some slide scans from the track find when Green et al were there and on the front it has written Sept 1, 1967, but I believe this may be the date it was developed. It appears that Green, Dahinden and Moffit flew down Aug 28 and arrived just before dark. I imagine they filmed either on the 29th or 30th. I suppose they may have stayed there a few days. Still waiting to hear back from Green and I'll go through more of the Green files to dbl check.things.
Blue Creek Mountain and Onion Mountain constitute the western wall above Bluff Creek basin. Tracks were found along new construction on these roads in August 1967, two separate events, the later one leading to an early September phone call from Al Hodgson to the Patterson home. From there Roger got Bob involved and made it down to the scene in October. (Yes, Todd, this is Steve, at Bigfoot Books talking, not the BFRO.)
That is not new. That is Blue Creek Mountain ridge, along the new road construction, 1967, from late August to the first couple of days in September. MK Davis posted this film clip a long time ago. It IS very important footage. The later part is potentially down in the creekbed, just downstream a few hundred yards from the later PGF site, where footprints were found in the sandbar.
Bluff creek is within a few miles of Blue Mountain Creek. There is a very short clip (less than a second) of something from a Patterson role that may have been prior to the P/G film.
I believe this is footage from Blue Creek Mountain before the P/G film came about. One could argue that is was the precursor to the P/G film but there were other factors making Patterson's film happen besides the track find on Blue Creek Mountain. But this footage is most certainly not from the Patterson/Gimlin film, nor is it from Bluff Creek.
Noo

It was filmed by RENE DAHINDEN.
Yes, that is John Green, the tall guy in the middle. By the way, there is no "Massacre" here.
Do NOT say that is Bob Timus in the film, though. LOL. That is the pilot, Keith Chiazzari, along with the dog handler Dale Moffit.
