recommended outdoor temperature?
Thank you. This video helped this Rookie sooo much ❤
your leaving out 1/2 of the instructions ? like 24 hrs keep it wet ? Like 5 min working time ? Dude !
Never, ever do a dry pour like that. It never works as well as mixing.
Seems like a great product. Surprised with almost 6,000 views, why has know one left any comments on results?
Why not just use a Shop-Vac
Is concrete cure necessary?
Yes
I want to resurface, what if the crack is completely through to the ground
Can it get access cement of pavement
Thanks for the video
No vapor barrier?
Ha!
How many blocks were used
And it cracked before it fully dried I bet
Never want to say to put a poly tubes/ bag in the hole 18 " flat will do it. (garbage bags can keep the dirt from mixing in) sono tube = $$$$$ 12" hole is a bit over 36" diameter. Wil cure nicely especially if pre mixed and filled 9 " sqaure box with bottom cut off is a good form, Or any bigger cardboard box and clamp and glue 2 edges so it is a perimeter of 37" a square in the ground is okay. Want longer wet time - bags or use old spray paint inside the cardboard first.
I know this video is 10 years old but that's the worst example of how to do it right I've ever seen. Just about everything that was shown was wrong about putting in posts.
It's useless does nothing
Ta yeule
Uggg wtf ha ha
Polyurethane glue ?
How many months before that all begins to peel up and enhance the grass?
"these guys must be loaded

Adds the sand by pouring it neatly out of a cup and then covers the whole pathway by sweeping the excess up with a broom.
A child knows how to stack blocks come on man what about the roof
Billy that is not even enough
Don’t buy the weed free sand totally 💯 useless
Worst thing to use even with pressure treated lumber. It will trap the water between the concrete and the wood speeding up the decay of the post even if it is pressure treated. Use the foam product. If not wrap the post with HD felt building paper to isolate the pole from the concrete.
Can I pour this in my basement floor drain? Malicious family put dry concrete in the drain. I've managed to get out what I can see and I continue to pour hot water with Dawn dish liquid down the drain.
Hey how's it going for you manage to remove the cement? What product you use? Similar issue need to remove a lot of set cement. Just thinking about which acid to use.
Holy cow that's awful. I hope that family member is no longer in your life.
😮
Im sorry, these are pros? Did you notice the 2x4 moving while they were smoothing the pour. Shouldn't the frame be staked on each side to prevent movement?
Yes
@@schunajm saw that also lol
That was a pretty shitty finish on that job. Sorry
I make a mistake of adding too much sand and wet it down. Now that it dried up i can see chunks have formed. I think i need to start brushing them off.
Except you need to make a mound around the post higher than ground level otherwise you'll be changing that post in 5 years
How come? Is it due to wood rot? Can you share a link showing a mound example of what you are talking about.
@@KJTB Its so when it rains, the water runs down and away from the post, and doesnt pool at the base of the post and the ground.
@@kingkelly44 got it, thanks.
I just went through 3 bags. Had to redo a post as it will not cure. Too much water the first time 🤦🏽♀️. Right amount the second time but this still will not cure. It’s for a mailbox post. I need to just get a p.o.box lol! Frustrated.
Dru mixing is a disaster waiting to happen, never ever dry mix in any use case.
Thanks I’lp so CDD we pm 2:-:-1

Cmon applying it with a small plastic container will take far too long unless ones drive only takes a Go cart or Smart Car
Neither one of these guys know their ass from a hole in the ground totally in adequate totally in capable
This video was very good for me. My question is how to estimate how much polymeric sand should I buy. I'm leaving a 1/4'' space between the bricks of a 80sq ft patio? The bricks are 2" high with a of mixture 8"x4 and 4x4" and 2x4" sizes
The Sakrete instructions state that it needs a minimum 1/4" gap and not to butt the stones. This obviously adds more work to the installation of the paver stones because you now have to space the stones rather than just butting the stones together. It also now makes the stability of the stones more dependent on the paver set (polymeric sand) rather than on the stone next to it. Wish Sakrete would comment more about this and note it in their install videos because I haven't seen anyone mention this in their videos, so after I had laid my stones I read the Sakrete instructions and was forced to redo the install to provide the min 1/4" gap.
May not have been the fanciest video but clear, succinct and covered all the points well. I also would like to know if this will hurt my plants. Don't think anyone is answering any queries unfortunately.
That's alot of Damage!!!
You painted the fucking brick with cement 😩
The guys who installed the sakrete sand on my pavers stain my pavers they didn't follow the instructions. How can I get the stains out and the stuck paver sand on top of the pavers please help , thank you guys
Have you tried elbow grease?
@@TheGibby13 lol
Question Sakrete, when using the leaf blower, is it ok that additional sand gets blown into my plants and grass?
Yes it is fine. Rain will wash it down and blend it I
No way in hell that's enough adhesive.
@@EricDeanCampbell You know this because your a psychic? Watch some other videos buddy. The block is tumbled. No way that bead of adhesive will adhere properly to the entire rough surface. That bead of adhesive should have been "taller or thicker". In my opinion....
No freakin way.... .
A better way is to use mason sand instead of polymeric and then rinse in. Once you do this use paver sealant. That way you will not have any chance of staining the stones and get better lines in between the pavers.
Will this prevent weed growth?Which sealant do you suggest,Everbuild or Thompsons?
Still doesn’t prevent weed growth from occurring. I used mason sand in between my joints and in less then a year im overrun with algae and weeds. Polymeric is the only way to go, don’t waste ur time doing anything else.
you need more than an inch of gravel..and it needs to be compacted..
What should I put beneath the pavers? It says a layer of weed barrier and then what would you recommend?
After applying the slurry mixture, can I apply the thicker coat on another day or should it all be done in a shorter time frame? (I heard that the slurry mixture is an alternative to a bonding agent -- I guess sort of a "primer" coat. Is this correct?)
