As an indigenous I don’t care for that stuff back in the day but if I had to blame someone I’d blame religion/ the Middle East

Love the explanation, we share the same plight as you brother. The white Britishers ransacked India too. We are glad that we were able to kick them out our lands. You and us share a lot in common, more power to you and please keep making these videos to educate the generations to come.

many elders did not retain culture and passed on unspeakable abuses to their children. they also need to be held accountable for violence against children. many are using the excuse of residential school victimhood to gain narcissistic attention but how many have you seen stand up to apologize to the children they abused and neglected from their illness. I think THAT is reconciliation. Nice that some nations have true elders but sadly, mine does not. If you want to stay alive, you stay off the reserve.

4 Stages For Creating Your Land Acknowledgement 🌄researching your relationship to the first peoples and land 🌄 4:00🌠 ask the hard questions 🌄what are you doing to foster healthy relationship with indigenous peoples? 🌄how can you support the indigenous peoples of your territory? 🌄why do you want to create a land acknowledgement in the first place? 4:25🌠 do your research 🌳learn their histories, language and worldviews - who is this land acknowledgement for? 5:10🌠 past, present and future 🌳who they were, are and are moving forward 5:50🌠 call to action and commitment 🌳finding out ways you can support your community Thank you for this video. I am learning here as a non-indigenous person looking for ways to bring land acknowledgement into my work and community building process. Thank you for the resource! Thanks for teaching about your traditions and beliefs. Very well spoken and easy to understand. I came across your video because I’ve just recently became at first interested and then fascinated by the tobacco plant. It’s obviously a sacred plant to your people but I’ve learned it’s one plant that’s played such an important role in pretty much every culture around the globe in one way or another. For your ceremonies is the type of tobacco important? I’ve read and watched conflicting things and was under the impression commercial tobacco varieties are not what native peoples use but was curious as to what’s meant by commercial tobacco? Is it N. Tabaccum plants that are considered commercial and N. Rustica what you use or by commercial do they literally mean the tobacco in a physical cigarette or factory made cigar? Either way thanks again for sharing and beautiful plants you grew.

I hope that you will make a campaign to ask indigenous for helps with projects so that we could try to advance all cultures through the teachings of indigenous people I've come to the realization that a dreamcatcher can be made any size which means that if you get two rings which are 100 kilometers in diameter and you attach them with wire that you can make a 100 kilometer structure because the wire is pulling the Rings together and then we can add an elevator to the side of the structure which will go 100 km off the ground and offer people space tourism I am of the belief that dream catchers were a symbol that we were supposed to travel to other planets but I would need to be allowed to speak to be able to explain this so I hope you make a campaign to offer people the chance to ask questions how we can advance all cultures through the teaching of aboriginals and it is important that we all share with each other to advance all of humanity and I hope that you will allow us this

Hey im curious about my native hair? I’m full native and when I was younger I had short hair bc my adoptive parents think it looks nice but I’ve never actually grown out my hair, I’ve always wanted to, but I’m forced to get buzz cuts, and my hair is like a mini Afro without curls just straight spiked hair. And when it’s at its longest (enough for it to go flat in water) I just get buzzcuts, it’s stiff and spikey do you think I could grow it out like you?

Like Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July in the US. Why can we not see this and change it. We cannot turn back time but we CAN change the future and we should!❤ as well...one month for Black History? Every month is white history! Make it make sense. ALSO, THOSE STATUES NOBODY WANTS DESTROYED? I actually agree...we cannot simply erase our shame. We need to correct the inscriptions by adding plaques clearly describing the people depicted' s transgressions and the import of their actions on future generations. We need to own our mistakes and attempt to make it right in any way we are able.

I celebrate Canada day because it was my white ancestors, and the white ancestors of millions of other Canadians that saved this nation from destruction in both World War I and World War II. If it hadn't been for soldiers like my great uncle being shot and killed in France defending Canada in WWII, which resulted in the direct protection of every minority and Native American walking Canadian streets today, who knows where Hitler's new world order would have put us. You all would be dead if it weren't for the hundreds of thousands of WHITE men and women that died to save your world, even if it is an imperfect one (as every single country can relate to accross the globe). So celebrate Canada Day, because your fate would have been so much worse had it not been for the sacrifices of your white countrymen that has allowed you to live on another day, and rant on a TH-cam video about your oppression, as if that oppression is the ONLY history of Canada that exists...
