I've considered collecting the Thindercats, but price is definitely a major factor. $35 a figure is more reasonable.

I like the new approach man and this way we can get smaller characters we probably didn't buy as ultimates, like the girls leaving in the Jungle of 3rd Earth and other characters... Also I noticed from the Target video with the new Deluxe Lion-O that the paint in deluxe will be different than Ultimates, I don't just think it's just less accessories but the painting will be different too. I bet the lighting eyes version (I pre ordered) of Lion-O, his skin will be more on par to the older version...

Nice review. I bought this only because of the comic moment it represents. However, Bane's ab articulation (needed to actually execute the pose from that scene) is abysmal. And there are multiple non-sensical issues with the Batman, from the fact he apparently changed costumes mid battle (compare colors to the non-damaged uniform on previous fig) to the fact the colors don't match the comic art on the package to the shadowing in the eyes and fabric tears that no lighting angle would ever create in that same manner. So, for all the good things you called out, McFarlane is capable of substantially better, and for such an epic moment in comic history, I wish they would have delivered at that level.

I really dig that Nightwing but couldn't care less about the court of owls so it's a pass for me. The price is good though.

Yeah, man! This 3 pack was a really pleasant surprise! I was able to get my preorder in. Love the new Nightwing and the Talon repaint looks really good as well! The Owl board member in suit looks pretty cool and really love the Owl accessory! More of this, Todd!

I can't believe you found the platinum cyborg Superman. That's a $100 figure on eBay. I finally found 3 platinum Azrael Batman, detective 27, sporstsmaster and John Stewart. But tbh, I'm over McFarlanes, the thrill is gone and I'm buying imports like Mafex and amazing yamaguchi. I found 4 warbirds in target and got two just to help out fellow collectors and so far I've had one say yes but never got in touch and all im asking is what i paid plus usps shipping $5-$8. I even agreed to send first but apparently this community just cant be helped. I was trying something new hoping it'd catch on but I guess it's not going to work out.
