Canada
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 21 มิ.ย. 2017
The Port Moody Power and Sail Squadron is a great non-profit organization that teaches boaters how to be safe on the water. We offer many courses - some of which are here:
www.boatingcourses.ca/squadrons/port-moody
We organize several cruises throughout each year (and are one of the most active squadrons around) and also host a variety of social events. Come with us and meet some new boating friends! In addition, as a member, you receive discounts from many marine and household namebrands.
If you would like more information about joining this proactive and fun group of people, please email membership@portmoodypss.com.

Great job in explaining
Great video! A lot of information, but clearly presented and vastly better than fumbling through the app hoping to discover what's there.
Annndddd... it's no longer possible to plan routes on a desktop. Disabled by Garmin.
So sad...seems Garmin has deleted the Navionics website. So much of this no longer applies. Such a shame
Really enjoyed your presentation. I've used Navionics for a couple of seasons, in a very basic way. Admittedly I had no idea this app had all of this functionality. Your presentation was very thorough, well organized and well presented. I learned a lot and am grateful for you sharing these features with us! Extremely well done!
What iPad case has worked best for you?
Great . Thank you very much. Regards from Netherlands 🇳🇱.
Hi dear . Do you know if this application does have an AIS option included in the abonament please ? Regards !!!
Great job, just bought a Samsung tablet specifically for Navionics. This tablet will be used between two boats, one in New Brunswick and one in PEI.
Must be AC driver? “Gotcha” use….=dead giveaway 😊
Excellent! Really learned a great deal. Thank you very much!
Very well done! I am adding Navionics Mobil app to my iPad. Thank you Dream Catcher NorCal Pacific Coast
Thanks for the excellent presentation. Very well organized and thorough. I watched it three times all the way through and gone back to time spots for refreshers. This was badly needed to get started off right. Very well done.
How do you connect Navionics to your chart plotter? Bluetooth, wi-fi, SD card? Which plotter do you use? Thank you
Excellent
thank you! and amazing voice !!!!!!!!
Excellent introduction to Navionics. Very helpful, thanks!
Thank you Jenn for such an informative video. Excellent!
Very informative but what version of Canadian english do you speak? Very American pronunciation. Rout? Mobil? Yikes 😮
Anyone knows which App to download for stupid Apple iPhone to be able to store more than 1000 Markers for fishing?
Thanks so much for your explanation Jenn.Wonderful presentation.
This is so well organized, presented, and complete. Thank you for a most informative tutorial. So many others gloss over actions they take behind the scenes, creating more questions than answers.
Super tutorial! Thanks for your clear, well paced presentation on mobile Navionics. You showed how to use the app and identified details of interest to boaters. The discussion and examples about current were especially helpful. Thank you ❤
Very good video Thank you
Great oresentation!!!!
great video question. when it plots a route for you or boat too, does it take you there threw safe waters as far as deph and obstacles go and you can follow this without any troubles along the way?
Great video - thank you.
Really well done - very helpful!
Hello dear captain. I appreciate your video because I need some advice before to applicate for navionics app. 1. What brand and model of cellular is the best if someone won't to aplicate for navionics on a cellular for fishing ? 2. Must I download a particular navionics app for fishing ? 3. How much do l avionics app for fishing cost at august 2023 August ? Waiting to hear a according answer from you ?
Active Captain was not originally developed by Garmin. Jeff Segal privately and generously developed and shared it with us users. BUT I am glad that Garmin bought it and uses it with the Navionics application. This is a great tutorial. Thank you.
Awesome presentation! Garmin owes you a commission as I am upgrading to their product line after this.
Great Presentation Jenn! The best that I have found for the Navionics app.
I’ve used navionics for several years on an iPad but after listening to your tutorial I now know how to maximize my use. You are much appreciated,
Thank you so much for making this tutorial what a great video 11/10
Best video thank you so much . I have a question. Do you know where is a good place to possibly get even more boat education like the SOVP? 4 days classes that are offered at some places. Anything you recommend?
Very nice video. You explained Navionics very well, simple examples, at the right pace. You killed it!!!
the best video ever 😍
Unquestionably the best walk through and explanation of this app available. Thank you
Is there a way to have navionics give bearings in magnetic instead of true
Most presenters are in a race to identify features of an app but do a miserable job of showing you how to access them and use them. You do not have that arrogant flaw; your pace is good, and you are an excellent teacher. Thank you ... thank you ... great job!
Great presentation and tutorial. It has been of great help to get to know the features in Navionics. Great Job! Thank You.
This was fantastic, thank you.
I wish I knew the map location.
Outstanding. Thank you very much.
Thank you Thank you Thank you. I saved this video as no. 1 in my favorites. Perfect explenation.
This presentation was the most informative video I have found. It flowed extremely well.
Fantastic tutorial, thank you!
Made THREE attempts at using navionics over the years, because each time I was promised that the "glitches" have been worked out. Three times it did not work. Phone or ipad doesn't matter; there is always a problem. Once the problem is overcome, another is encountered and then another and another and ... I always carry paper charts, but should NOT have to go back to using them after I have PAID money for access to this software. Each time I believe I have solved things and go to leave an anchorage and turn on my device to use navionics, I find a problem. It is never the same issue; always a different problem for some reason and usually when I just want to have a relaxed sail with convenient easy to use charts on a cockpit device. Money seems to be plowed into marketing and advertising this product, with an efficient system to take money from users, but it does not work !!!! It never bloody works.
Hands down the best, most informative information I’ve found on Navionics. Well done!
Any thoughts as to why Navionics works on my iPhone but not on my iPad?
