Bell City Council nominates Ali Saleh as the new Mayor.
Bell business owner Ali Saleh was named mayor of the city during the first meeting of the recently elected City Council ( 4/11/2011 ). The council voted 3 to 2 to make Saleh the mayor. ( Yaroun )

The residents of Bell shook fingers and fists, their faces flush with vituperation, as they shouted about an unfair tax burden and the corrupt cabal that had infected their local government. The elected officials, meanwhile, sat passively, like children being scolded, which only infuriated the crowd even more.

Samir Mourad ( speaking above ) was one of hundreds of residents who packed the community center on Monday to assail council members who listened to more than five hours of public comment.
This lady started out ok, half way through she had no idea what the hell she was talking about. County library, City of Bell library give me a break.

I absolutely agree with you mrjustin5, for the first time in a very long time, we may see actual justice. All of the Bell eight should do lengthy prison sentences.That would send a signal to put a stamp on all of this rampant corruption and take us to the next level of our society and a new vision for our future.And these scumbags should lose all of their wealth and then some.They must start all over, being humble like most of the people in Bell. But first jail time to reflect on what they did.

Tyranny in progress in this video. As you can see at the start of the video the Goons are more than happy and willing to enforce whatever will of your Over Lords want (city council). Notice they were about to phyiscally pull her away from the Microphone. IF she REFUSES?! Whats next? A TASER? or a BEATING?! Why aren't those criminals in the council ARRESTED and charged as CRIMINALS?! If you or I even ripped someone off for $1,000 we go to jail. Let alone, these assholes and millions of dollars.

Talk about an idiot. Let us analyze her a bit more: She makes remarks "Has she [Jacoco] gone into your house and stole from you personally. Yes. Although Jacobo has not physically gone into the homes of the people of Bell, she nonetheless has robed the people of their hard earned money by the imposition of high taxes on the people, and more importantly that she robbed the people of their spirit. We should value everyones voice, but in her case she needs to realize that she is in the wrong.
