@Brokestead1 I've tried several ways... IMO the best is just an old standard size langstroth box hung up in a tree with old standard frames and some "swarm commander" ... makes transferring into the new hive very simple!

I tried going cold turkey but it didn't work out too well

@@Brokestead1 I like the build, but I just meant growing herbs and a small amount of food plants inside. The grow light part would make it easier I think. Your shelf is really neat. Do you think it could be done in several shelf format? Or would that require a bit stronger chain?
