Gaming most games don't have the best audio drivers like having exclusive audio or using asio. So I doubt most games go above 48k because the file sizes for the music and sounds would take up too much space they would need to be lossless.

actually this still works in local servers as long as you set sv_playerradio_allowlist set to false (sorry i don't remember the correct command line but when it shows it is set default as true) However in official servers no longer works because you need to set the said command to false which require sv_cheats to true which, again not possible unless you cheat in game
