La Jolla Shores has 5 green sea turtles that live in an area called Turtle Town in a marine protected preserve. This one is called Scar.

Not sure what kind of smelt but there's a whole lot of them.

It's nice to see sharks during the heatwave.

Anyone recognize the blueish fish with the bright blue squiggly line on his back? There are brief views of a Garibaldi (orange), Calico Seabass (green/brown with spots), California Sheep Head (black with large red stripe), and Zebra Perch (silver with black stripes)

I don't know what kind of fish they are but if you know let me know. Sometimes if they are closer to the surface you can dive down and get closer to them. It's pretty cool.

Baby Leopard Shark

Horn sharks have a venomous spine on each of their dorsal fins. You can see both in this video.

Fun fact: their snubby faces make it look like they hit a brick wall. They also do not respond to questions about Batman. very suspicious.

La Jolla Cove has a pretty good spread of different marine creatures. Here's a whole bunch of them in one video. There's garibaldi, round rays, sea lions, black surf perch, and some kind of red fish. Let us know if you recognize it.

Not a 100% it was a White Sea Bass. It was about 4 to 5 feet long.

Not too sure I want a sea lion that close to me.

There was a 5 foot shark hiding in the kelp. It kinda looks like a really big horn shark. It might have been hiding from sea lions since there are a lot of them in the area. You can hear the sea lions in the background.
