@@Salubrious_death Messmer was definitely a roadblock for me in my first couple playthroughs in the DLC. He is so fun to fight. Good luck!

@@sanevtuberenjoyer I was actually just watching that lol. I like him a lot, so I'm trying to make the fight last a lot longer than the previous bosses I've recorded. For all the base game bosses, I tried to finish them in around 3 minutes. I'm trying to git gud enough for a 10 minute no hit on him without trying to stagger. So far my best attempt was around 7 minutes without taking damage

@ His poise is so low, I feel like it’s impossible to not stagger him. I definitely plan on no-hitting him in the future

@@sanevtuberenjoyer I do end up staggering him, but I'm trying to not go out of my way to do it. If I throw on the cragballs, he'll stagger in like 2/3 hits. I'm using the cleanrot knights sword and only doing light attacks. I can get in like 2 or 3 little pokes per opening, and it probably takes like 5 or more openings to get the stagger. I haven't actually counted how many pokes it takes because I'm too focused on not his attacks
