I have a HS student with small hands who wants to learn this beautiful piece. Any recommendations for how to play mm 22-23 (LH)…she cannot reach the outer interval w/o strain and barely w strain?
I'm delighted that your student is interested! Thanks for reaching out. I would handle 22-23 in a similar way as 9-10 to avoid the straight 9th and maintain the syncopation. Please wish her my best and Happy New Year!
