yes it has the history, but tourists. from cold places come to Goa for pleasant weather + beaches + parties and goes without saying that the portugal architecture is a marvel too

It is true that Goa faces these challenges, and responsible tourism is crucial for preserving its beauty. I feel Locals and Tourists are two sides of the same coin, while locals face some situations mentioned in your comment due to few miscreants, tourists also face problems due to scammers.

@HASHTAGSINGH NO Sir. Would definitely not agree with your response. Been into hospitality business/ restaurant and beach Shack since year 1989. Gave up everything after Covid 19. Allow me to describe and define the soft spot to my beloved costumes. It's heartwarming to describe about the many Indian brothers and sisters who have made Goa their second home, returning year after year to soak up the sun, sand, and sea. And of course, the film personalities, businessmen, and corporate tourists who have fallen in love with Goa's charm and hospitality. Goa's reputation as the wedding destination of the country is well-deserved, with its stunning beaches, lush green landscapes, and vibrant culture providing the perfect backdrop for unforgettable celebrations. Kudos to these wonderful people who have helped make Goa the beloved destination it is today!

Bro you are correct when you say that why worry if we are going for vacation, but when you stay somewhere or use a service they try to extract maximum they can which increases profitability, this not only happens in Goa but also in Thailand or any other tourist destination. Ap log khudke desh ko loss karte hai, lekin 4,5, acid ka boond mahasagar me dalnese kush boora nahi hoga. Apka dimakh hi boora hoga. Goa ka jo tourism hai vo portuguese kalinse hai. Vo tumhare jaise deshke dushman kitne bi koshish karne do kush nahi ho sakta. Shayad apki nind kharab ho sakti hai. Ap goa ke city to shodo goa ke gav dekho apko ek zopadpatti nahi milegi, ek bhikari nahi dikhega, goa me jo bhikari dikhte hai vo sab tumhare states se ate hai. Chori, loot, dacoity bi tumhare hi log karte hai.

Aisi baat nahi hai, maine cities of Thailand kaha, Phuket, Krabi etc, uske muqable Goa ka infrastructure improve hona chahiye. Main bahot baar Goa aayi hoon aur bahot acha lagta hai, main kisi bhi din Indian city ko hi choose karungi and Goa main agar kuch changes se woh Thailand ban sakta hai Jaise ke ab Lakshadweep popular hua, to yeh acha hoga. Thailand main bhi scam hote hai, badtameez log bhi hai, magar unke infrastructure se seekh leni chahiye and kuch cheezo ko behtar banana chahiye.

For Thailand, the cutoff is higher. That means a Thailand Trip will take minimum 50k per person. While you can have a Goa trip within 15K also if you go by train and live affordably and dirtily. But a 70K(per pax) trip to Thailand is much better and luxurious than a 70k(pp) trip to Goa(taking flight).

It's a little far from the beach you need a vehicle to reach Candolim Beach, the charges are mentioned in the video itself.
