Fully Mission Capable
Pursuit of Vehicle Based Adventure!
What being Fully Mission Capable means to us:
o Development and use of a vehicle to be “fully capable” for ones intended use, off-roading, overlanding or a combination of both yet still grabbing groceries or picking the kids up from school.
o It is not about having what the “other guy” has, but more about making your vehicle capable for your own “mission”.
o What is important that your vehicle is constantly improving based on what adventure you are seeking, make your vehicle capable for what YOU do with it.
Keep evolving, enjoy the outdoors, spend time with family and friends.

Never use pop rivets. They will come loose and make a huge hole.
I got one in 97 and never needed it, but previously, I did need it without one, found out years later they didn't seal it, dumbarses
Never going off road ever.
I love comments like this 😂 you got me man, will never go off road, actually I probably don’t even know how to put it in 4wd 😂 thanks for the comment have a blessed day
🤷🏾♂️
Who else loves the sound of tires crunching on a gravel road? It’s more than just a sound-it’s the promise of adventure ahead, the excitement of leaving the beaten path, and the anticipation of finding that perfect campsite surrounded by nature’s beauty.
You obviously don't live on a gravel road
Haha unfortunately the do not, but the get what your saying 😂
Looks pretty nice brother. Great job!
Thanks man I appreciate the positive comment 👍👍
Stop blowing holes in my ship!
Haha yes, best Captain Jack Sparrow quote 👍👍
Flashback to 2023, a group of us spent several days exploring South Carolina and Georgia. This wasn’t our originally planned camping spot-access to our intended location was closed, so we had to backtrack that day. This is a great reminder to always mark alternate locations as you travel. By the way, I was mistaken earlier-the stream is actually part of Charlie’s Creek. Location: 34.95862, -83.57148
What is that tool you used at the beginning to make a small mark on your truck so your step bit doesn’t walk on you?
Husky Spring Loaded Center Punch 👍👍
If you think drilling into your metal makes your car a pos you should see what they do to it in a factory
Oh I don’t, but the TH-cam trolls do 😂😂
Definitely wouldn’t have used aluminum rivets nut serts would’ve been a better choice
They are aluminum, I also figure if I do have any wear on them I can always go back and do rivnuts. Thanks for commenting 👍
y'all want him to be standing in a mud pit while he's attaching this so it's legit enough for you? The Internet is a wild place 😂
Don’t listen to them. Your build is awesome and I hope these videos continue! God bless!
Thanks for the positive comment, I’m hoping to get better at the content and looking forward to sharing our trips this year 👍👍
Genuinely trying to heart watch the video but I can't see past the comments.
Original video was posted a few days prior to this one 👍 that doesn’t have the comment overlays
Just curious, why did you use glue or whatever that epoxy was?
So I used a anti-rust product on the bare metal and then I applied a small amount of loctite silicon to help protect from water intrusion into the holes I drilled 👍 thanks for the comment
Isn’t there a curtain airbag right where you drilled lol ?
Yes, but it does have interior protection, you would have to drill much deeper to affect airbag 👍
lol😂
😉
I have a snorkel an most those dipshits couldn’t even install it right to begin with, they damn sure don’t have proper tools to begin with.😬👀🤙🏼
Nice was to cause frame damage (damaging the roof support pillar) and making your car less safe, but hey…it sure looks “cool dude”! What a dumbass!

Nobody except this guy wants a snorkel. $4K in body work to remove it.
I’m the only one 😂😂 not a good business model for the manufacturers. Thanks for the comment
I know they’re kinda impractical but I always thought they were stinkin cool. Hope you get to enjoy it. 😃
Agree, do I need it..of course not, but I like it and it’s my vehicle and I like how it looks 👍. Thanks for the comment
Haters always got something to say. Not what I would spend my $$ on but if it makes you happy, it's your money who cares. Grow up people have some fun in life. Guess what you cant take your money with you when you die. Might as well spend it on stuff you enjoy!!!
Agree, I get that it’s not the look for everyone but dang 😂 and it’s not like they are paying for it 😂. Thanks for the comment
Rivets really? If you're doing all that why not do it right with hardware? For sure must be a mall crawler then!
Yeah, I know, I’m most likely gonna remove them and use rivnuts, I was following manufacturer recommendations and it’s just part of a secondary bracket not really providing much support or force worst case I’ll install rivnuts. Thanks for the comment
What a stupid thing to do
To some yes, but I’m happy with it. Thanks for the comment
People hating as if it was their car 🤣
You would think it was tax payer money haha
To look cool in bumper to bumper traffic. Don’t forget the high lift jack.
You think it will look cool in traffic? Sweet thanks 😂😂
Don't forget the cheap traction mats and high lift 😂😂😂 gonna look sick in the Walmart parking lot
Thanks for the comment but we are Target people, but yeah it will look cool 😂😉
Fake
What?!? 😂😂😂
For that deep water you’ll never see.
A snorkel's primary purpose is to raise the vehicle's air intake, allowing it to draw in cleaner, cooler air from a higher position, and minimizing dust ingestion when driving in dusty conditions, ultimately improving engine performance and longevity by providing a cleaner air supply; it can also contribute to slightly better fuel efficiency by providing denser, cooler air to the engine. Preventing water from entering the engine during deep water crossings is really an additional function to a point, most like to criticize this function but it also needs to be mentioned that most of the electrical components under the hood are NOT designed for long term water submersion, so this is done with care.
Useless modification unless you're underwater.

Let's see.....you install a 6' high snorkel on an SUV that can't handle 24" of water, or the water starts entering the doors & electronic modules. Genius. Darwin asks you now to step out of the line of evolution. <smh>

the original use of a snorkel was to provide air to a submerged engine, funny how it's now just decoration

@ I'm gonna counter and say 1m above the hood the air is just as bad and dusty, and that factory airboxes work incredibly well. If you always use paper filters like you are supposed to, and change them regularly, your engine won't die to dust inhalation.
@@drogenfeld great. Looks like you have it figured out, almost like I spent your money on it 😂 what’s a good email, that way I can consult you before I do another upgrade 😂 thanks for the comment, have a great day
@@FMCOverland good fight

Thanks man, appreciate it, thanks for watching.
Wow! I never knew how you spend your time and money bothered so many people!
Haha, yeah you would think I was spending their money
F the haters go put it to use somewhere!
Appreciate it, thanks for the support!
When are we going to Crabtree??
As soon as the rain comes 😂😂
Do you go in streams?
All of them 😂
I witnessed a Toyota pickup with a snorkel swerve to avoid the runoff from McDonald's sprinklers and almost get nailed by a nightmare of an old truck carrying a rolloff dumpster. Dude, you have a snorkel and don't want your tires to get wet.
😂😂 that’s hilarious, would have loved to witness that 😂😂
Kinda agree with the comments.
Bro it’s a truck wtf is he gunna invest in that’s gunna give him a return? y’all so worried about everyone else
I guess I grew up in a time where if you didn’t have something nice to say you just didn’t say anything but today it seems everyone needs to be heard I guess and maybe saying something negative makes them feel relevant in some way but I guess it’s hard to just keep scrolling
Really would like to have seen how the light project after the installation
If definitely dims the light output versus clear. But that’s a great idea, maybe I’ll do a video to show the difference. Thanks for the comment 👍
@FMCOverland would love to see the video!
Sorry but the silicone isn’t going to protect it from rusting
That is correct! Where or when was it implied that the silicone would prevent rust 😂 the silicone is to help prevent water intrusion, an anti-rust product was applied to the bare metal. Thanks for watching.
@ maybe you should include that step instead of misleading people 😂 thanks for being a dumbass 😎
