    the kopia server not having running? with kopia UI the scheduling works only if the app is started. I expected you to do a cron to launch the new snap command every so many minutes.

    • @aiiaznsk8er
      @aiiaznsk8er 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hey there! There are two cron processes, one for initiating the Notion export, and one for copying the export to S3. You could architect it with more regularity within Kopia. I hope that helps answer your question. In this example, I leave the syncing schedule up to the developer.

    • @Rednunzio
      @Rednunzio 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aiiaznsk8er I installed kopia gui on macos by setting the repos on an external disk. Kopia gui also installs kopia cli and I was able to do everything with the kopia gui app turned off. Connect to the repo create a new snap and set a new policy for scheduling snaps. The scheduling of snaps only works if the app is open so I'm thinking that the culprit is kopia server which veien started when the app starts. In your case, have you checked that everything works even without starting and setting up kopia server in any way?

    • @Rednunzio
      @Rednunzio 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aiiaznsk8er I confirm that starting the server works. The server should be used by setting a certificate and a user I started it up with the --insecure option to check if that was the reason and it is.

    • @Rednunzio
      @Rednunzio 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aiiaznsk8er How does the cron for copying to s3 work given that the scheduling you set is managed by the kopia server that you don't name? Sorry for the insistence but I want to understand better 🥲

    • @aiiaznsk8er
      @aiiaznsk8er 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Rednunzio no worries. In this video, Kopia is installed on my Macbook, running continuously in the background. I use the CLI commands to initialize a Kopia Repository on my local machine, and point that repository at S3 as a sync target. I then use the Kopia CLI, not the KopiaUI, to set a snapshot policy interval for that repository. The Kopia interval policy will sync the local disk repository with the remote target in S3. The launchd scheduler executes a Nodejs script on my macbook to download the Notion archive to the local disk. launchd and the nodejs process is separate from the Kopia interval policy that I set through the Kopia CLI. The full flow is this - 1. launchd is scheduled to call the nodejs script at some interval 2. the nodejs script uses your specific Notion API endpoint to initiate an archive download, and save it on your local machine 3. Kopia is already running in the background and syncs the contents of the local archive to an S3 bucket on the interval set by your Kopia Repository policy snapshot interval. The command `kopia policy set {target} --snapshot-interval 1m` for example makes a snapshot every minute. In practice, you should set it to a more reasonable interval like every day or every week. So we have two separate processes executing on user-defined intervals, one for downloading the Notion archive (launchd and the nodejs script) and one for syncing with S3 (Kopia's repository interval policy). I'm not using the KopiaUI web interface, just the Kopia CLI. The Kopia "server" process is already always running in the background. Thanks so much for asking questions and hope this helps! Happy hacking!

      @@aiiaznsk8er thank you. And the follow up question is what happens if the ball goes in the goal, bounces out and hits the back of the goalkeeper and then goes back in again - it should count as 1 goal and not 2. Also, if the ball "goes" in the goal and "bounces" back out then is it sure that the ball did actually go in the goal in the first place?

      You can follow the thread on LinkedIn with the creators of the project. Essentially, the camera is looking at the entire playfield, comparing what changes from one frame of video to another. The machine learning algorithm has been trained to differentiate what it sees as the game progresses. The context model is aware of the game implications as each frame is analyzed. This means that, yes, all of your scenarios are accounted for in the training process to track a game of foosball autonomously. Hope that answers your question! Thanks so much for stopping by our corner of the internet and happy foosballing to you!@@londonfooser

    try making yogurt from soymilk(you have to sweeten the soymilk so the bacteria have a bit of sugars to eat), Caspian sea yogurt culture is best because it doesn't need to warm up for fermentation. The natto brand I get here in Japan doesn't have much smell at all not even really taste but it's just to alkaline and slimey for me to eat on its own. so here's the recipe. 1. Soymilk yogurt (kefir dairy or non dairy is ok too) 2. 1 ripe banana(unripe makes it too sticky) 3. 1 pack of Natto (there is a kids version that is odor free) Blend well ! The sweet natural sugars of the Banana will completely drown out the natto taste plus much healthier than adding that honey. The tart of the soymilk yogurt or kefir will also balance out the alkalinity of the natto making a pretty nice fully balanced meal replacement. Try it out ! Make it on video too!
