Sky Diver Hello! You are «russ» the last year of your high school before you start university! In Norway the school system is a bit different so high school is not exactly what I can call it. First you go to a school from 1st to 7th grade. After that a school from class 8th to 10th. And then your start a different school from 11th to 13th grade. It’s on the last year (grade 13) that you are a russ, or depending on what path you choose for this school. You may have only 2 years, so until 12th grade, or you can have 3 or 4. 3 years is the most common. But the main fact is that you do it on your last year. For me that was 13th grade. And after that you start university. This is not something that the universities have.

Sky Diver That depends on the person! But if your groupe gets a russ car or russ bus you have to spend more! We do different things to save money. Throw parties, sell things, paint houses and so on. Alcohol in Norway is pretty expensive so a lot of money goes into that as well if you like to drink.

Sky Diver Yes. Almost 12 euros for a pack of cigarettes.

Not that I know of. I was a russ back in 2014, and could've been a russ in 2015 too but as far as I know alcohol is what the Russ get drunk/high on. Sure there's probably drugs in every school, but the majority does not use drugs, as far as I've observed in parties. Probs a lot of moonshine though xD

+Adam SS. We did go there to learn more about what happened in Poland and Germany. We did have some real fun experiences there, and a lot of good times. It was two beautiful countries. We didn't only go there to see the bad things that has happened there.
