HIGHGATE NATURE WALK: Queen's Wood Cafe, Highgate Wood, Highgate Cemetery
Today we are going on a nature walk around Highgate, London. We started with coffee in Queen's Wood Cafe, a few minutes walk from highgate station.The cafe was very cozy, engulfed by the greens and the music of nature. Although the seats started to fill up, it was still peaceful we were still able to have our own private conversations and still hear the birds from time to time. After our coffee, we headed to highgate wood, the trails are well marked, toilets very accessible, plenty of squirrels and birds along the way, parents with proms enjoying a walk and playful dogs. After 2 hours of strolling we decided we needed some refuelling, found ourselves in the Pavilion cafe for lunch. From Highgate wood we walked to one of the most fascinating cemeteries in the world- the Highgate cemetery.
