      Joel was already married when they met. And later on alison also found someone for her. They do have a soft corner for each other in their other community related public appearances or the podcasts if you notice _(Joel once said that he knew God existed because Alison exists),_ but they're sensible mature people who are loyal to their respective partners. As life long friends they both love each other, which is a cool thing.

      @@AllegraDante Oh my god I never expected a reply from you, considering that you uploaded this almost 12yrs ago. Wow, you're awesome & thanks to you that the world got to see this interview of Joel-Alison. It's from collider, I checked their website & even dug out the page from their site about this interview, but there's no video there. No worries about the video quality, at least it was here. So thank you so much once again for saving this interview :)

    • @nalinnawani8570
      @nalinnawani8570 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      At the risk of "reading too much into things", maybe she was into him a bit at that time. Notice how she not only constantly checks him out here, but her gaze shifts to his lips and chest a LOT. That is like "body language of crush 101"... I am not inferring anything in a wrong sense at all since Joel was married and everything, also it is perfectly normal to have a crush on someone...but.. yeah

    • @Blazko877
      @Blazko877 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nalin Nawani damn I mean I think you’re right, there has been some very subtle instances that she has been shown to be attracted to him. And there is some people who believe what you believe too but I honestly don’t know man, for me all signs points to that she did (or does) have a thing for him

    • @nalinnawani8570
      @nalinnawani8570 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Blazko877 I mean I could definitely be wrong 'cause I am no body language expert, but honestly, the constant gaze at the lips is usually a strong giveaway....compare her interviews with Danny Pudi who is basically her best friend and notice that difference. Although I don't think it's the case nowadays since she's also married and everything. But it's not like one can blame her either. Look at him! He is as perfect as they come. Tall, handsome, witty, athletic and funny....I'm a guy but he would be totally my type if I were a woman. Btw, what instances/people you meant when you said about believing in that theory? Did you mean based on this video or in general?

    • @Blazko877
      @Blazko877 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nalinnawani8570 I got the few instances from @_milady.milord on instagram, you can find more there. They also do alot of very accurate and very in depth analyses of Jeff and Annie. They even theorised that Joel Mchale also might had or have a thing for her

    • @nalinnawani8570
      @nalinnawani8570 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Blazko877 I'm not sure really about Joel because that is just looking into things with not enough matter to begin with really. There is not much to look into here either, but in this clip we can say based off of the body lang cues on display here from her side...but I don't see much at all from Joel. (Then again, anything is plausible cause I know whole cast used to work really long hours and it is natural....maybe that was partially responsible factor behind the amazing J/A chemistry) Anyway, if possible, could you point out few posts that you believe give more weight to the theory because I am now weirdly interested digging more now haha...

    I think this show doesn't get the recognition it deserves because it targets a very specific audience. As Joel said, it understandably has a fairly young audience. However the show is also very witty and smart at times, and unforunately it's hard to find someone young and witty in today's world. Moreover a lot of the references are toward old t.v shows and film (especially coming from Abed) which again, a lot of young people today won't understand.

    There is a very real chance that this show will be viewed as a very important moment in TV history. THe canary in the coal mine if you will. Joel mentioned the young audience of the show in the interview. It exacerbates the online/alternative consumption of the show that has accelerated the obsolescence of the Neilsen system. There is very likely a wave of many more shows with similar "problems" to Communities coming in a few years.
