I’m very junior to you, just got a job , but I will slightly disagree on a point that even if someone is unprepared still they should give the interview, it shows a mirror that where someone actually stands. I am still remember the day when I have given my first interview at “Antino Labs” and failed it on February. I’m grateful that I failed it and came learn where I stand in the market . ❤

Hi @SanketSingh1, I am actively trying for a switch for the past 8-9 months. Mostly rejections, cleared some OA's, later ghosted and hardly landing up in Interviews. I am fluent in DSA (LC 800+) & beginner in System Design. The problem is my industry experience is C/C++ based in Network architecture. I want to switch to core backend/frontend roles but majority of the jobs are in Java+Springboot or React or Python/Django. I guess gone are the days where companies only interview you on DSA. Even though I have React/MERN projects my work experience is something else. My Question to you is : Should I keep looking for rare C/C++ roles or switch to Java/React based teams to enhance my profile ? (Currently working in Samsung)

Appreciate that you shared your experience but title & thumbnail is misleading & needs to be changed.... Rest I believe, these so called Prod based organisations just pick the candidates from Google or Microsoft like organisations, so the same sh*t keeps moving within themselves which can be good for other organisations & not good for the candidates who are looking to work in these organisations. And after listening to the interview experiences of various people with such organisations, I have understood that if you are from Google like companies then recruiters may try everything to get you selected else candidate's chances are very slim with no scope of error. So on TH-cam, people will be seeing only the filtered & refined content of such experiences but in reality many other things would have happened behind the scenes. As depending on your current company or job status or job title, the perspective towards your answer changes a lot & that directly changes your interview results, so forget about the transparency, ethics or equal opportunity things talked about by these companies...sab jagah n*nga naach ho raha, everyone is working for own marketing.
