Lungshan / Longshan temple is probably the most famous temple of Taipei. Originally built in 1738, it was rebuilt in 1919 after fires and earthquakes. It's free to enter. We biked (or at least tried to) from Taipei to Tamsui. Thankfully when we arrived the weather was great and the food choices abundant.
