Compare with the staggering history of the Jews, who survived two millennia of diaspora on the basis of a written culture and history. The history departments of African universities should be full of scholars reconstructing an African identity fit for purpose instead of continually complaining that Europeans aren’t doing it for them. This learned helplessness is very depressing.

FYI, the bible is plagiarized copy of Middle Eastern people stories from the Quran and Torah. These stories are from people who are African but not Black Africans. All people are African. But Black African people do not descend from any of these stories or people. We should not be concern with these middle eastern stories. We have our own history that is not told. Lets find it and tell it. Also religion is just a tool used to pacify humans when they had no tools to remedy their situation (drought, famine, disease, flooding, etc.). Then eventually "WHITE SLAVERS". So religion was used as a coping device for early Africans before there were any whites anywhere. Or any other people anywhere. They used it as a coping mechanism when they didn't know what to do. Just as babies use a pacifier to cope. KEY POINT: Stop your 18 year old from sucking on a pacifier before 18. If you don't, that 6'3 250 lbs. kid will hurt you when you try to take it out. Recognize you are the 18 year old and I'm trying to take the pacifier out your mouth. Hope I survive it. LOL Africa people please understand there is no god. You must rely on science to move forward in this world. Things that are proven everyday. There is no proof a rain dance to the gods will produce rain. It might pacify you for a while BUT YOU WILL EVENTUALLY DIE. AFRICA PEOPLE STOP DYING FROM THESE RITIUALS THAT ONLY PACIFY

I have high self esteem and low racial esteem, yet I have never been prone to violence, and I never used the n-word after I learned of its significance. My low racial esteem began as a child when I learned that Africans let a few yt pp run roughshod in their country and took them all captive. But that isn't the truth, is it? Many Africans enslaved other Africans, sold them to Europeans, and facilitated the slave trade. They also held auctions. They had no standards or loyalty to other Africans then, so how am I supposed to believe things are different now? Africans will never be united b/c the truth is, no race of people are wholly "united." There will always be collaborators who will sell out the collective. There will always be corrupt officials who oppress their own people. The history is great, but let's be honest. Learning that we are the "original man" or yt people stole/hid/lied about our history serves 2 purposes: 1. It creates a narrative of racial superiority that makes Blk folks angry and encourages the domination and antagonization of every other group we have to share the planet with. 2. It keeps the cash flowing to the race hustlers. While teaching history, why not also teach a way to work with and get along with other people of the world? Why not set better moral standards for ourselves? We should remember that no one wants to be dominated. Everyone wants to be equal. If we continue to treat other groups terribly, they will rebel against us. Again.

Yes, there were conflicts prior to colonialism but we're still a people in the same region, Geopolitically the Europeans already figured this out, their Popes told them to look externally for resources instead of killing each other. That's how they came up with the brilliant idea of colonialism, to make themselves as powerful as they are now.
