Welcome to our channel, where Steve works out of a two car garage bringing back old abandoned Drag cars to both the streets and the tracks better than they ever were before! Will this 500ci big block Chrysler make 800hp?? And fitting up a ***cough*** TH400!
Today we’ll be going through the build on the 500ci big block RB engine that will be going in the Challenger! I’ll also be revealing the transmission, and mocking it up to the engine as we get it ready to get fitted into the car!
Don’t forget, 10% of all earnings will be going to Cancer Care and wounded warrior project! So don’t forget to Like, subscribe, and comment!

Try the header fit with that starter before you put in the car just done one lots of fun
Absolutely will be, I’m sure it’s going to take a couple dings to make them fit!
Good luck, word of advice... go over EVERYTHING... dirty Dan has a habit of rigging and half assed builds... bad chad must be his hero..lol..kidding.. have fun.
Good job! keep the videos coming out love the car
It's about flippin' time! I was hoping she would get some love!
I remember Dan building this lol. Can only get better right. I know it was a race car but man, please get some challenger panels inside . Looks like the inside of a toaster oven . 😅
Haha I agree, so I do got some door panels to go inside!
Seriously ?? IF it was a mistake, IT WAS YOUR mistake !!
Hard to hear the welds with the crazy music that isn’t required.
'73-'74 was kind of an unloved 2 years , but in recent years people have found a new sense of appreciation for them remember these are 50 year old cars now. Good luck , can't wait to see it driving.
Did you check for a build sheet?
@@jahbay I did, unfortunately long gone! But do know is your basic 318 Challenger in Sienna with the black vinyl top
Lifting that BB with the carb plate is very brave.
my childhood buddy had a challenger classic 50 mickey thompsons and skinnys on front funnest burn out car ever 318 forever then built 440 have fun enjoy
Is the roof rusty underneath the vinyl top.
@@jennfaire8726 actually not bad at all… I’m sure surface rust but if I don’t take it off I’ll never know! Ignorance is bliss!
As soon as I read the title I felt sad for you. 😢
Just because you’re sad and depressed doesn’t mean this guy with the Challenger project has to be also… Cheer up & make new friends 🎉
@@joea9608 your right ! He’s lucky to have a boyfriend like you looking out for him being so positive !!! 💯
@@mrgreezy1 Lol. Control your jealousy kid... Maybe one day you'll be able to trade your Hot Wheels collection for a real car
@@joea9608 awesome !!! I love to hear self proclaimed clairvoyants who assume and say all kinds of dumb shit !!! Seriously I’d say it’s the largest opportunity for entertainment at the cheapest price !!! Thanks sir you definitely got me laughing, in a “I feel sorry for u but not really” kind of way but hey a laugh no less !!!
@@mrgreezy1 No need for anyone to be clairvoyant to read you buster... Your posts are like little red flags. lol
You should never have trusted that scumbag.
Really looking forward to watching this.... well done.
Yes, it was a mistake. Then again, I don't like mopars for many reasons. I hope you enjoy it. I like how they look.
@@shadetreemechanicracing22 I was never a Mopar guy either, but as you’ll see in the next video there will be a little Chevy in it 😉
@@SBRacingGarage It's the multiple engine/transmission combos, the crappy wiring, and the rusted rotten unibodies......GM figured out the transmission part.
The paint code should be on that fender tag, watch a few episodes of Graveyard Cars and I'm sure you'll be able to decode it.
@@intentsmodz I know the original colour, which is Sienna Gold… just no idea on the black that was used as repainted sometime in the 80’s!
@@SBRacingGarage oh ok, I misunderstood what you said.
@@intentsmodz all good, just realized I wasn’t to clear on that! Thanks for watching along!
@@SBRacingGarage no sweat, I don't remember the car so you must've been following DD speed shop longer than me, following to see how it goes. 👍
Looking forward to following this build. 👍👍🇨🇦
Kool

I appreciate that, thank you!
Came over from Dan's channel. Video looks and sounds fine. Always liked that car so I'll follow along. Good job!
