Spent a Night in Colorado’s Only Open Fire Lookout | Mesta ėhehe Mountain Fire Lookout
Colorado has a limited number of fire lookouts left, and I was so lucky to book a stay at the only one open to the public-Mestaa’ėhehe Mountain Fire Lookout. It was incredibly hard to reserve, but I got it the day after my birthday. This experience was truly unforgettable, and meeting someone as helpful as Kai made it even more special. What an amazing birthday gift!

Solo Winter Camping | Nick Yang Supertramp
มุมมอง 25414 วันที่ผ่านมา
This was my first time camping in the snow, and I cooked a delicious spicy crab hot pot. However, due to my lack of experience, I may have accidentally blocked the stove's exhaust pipe (chimney), causing the smoke to stay inside. It was a close call, and I almost ended up with carbon monoxide poisoning. A valuable lesson learned about the importance of preparation and safety in winter camping!

Solo Camping: Cooking Sapporo Style Ramen Alone in the Woods | Nick Yang Supertramp
มุมมอง 1.3K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
This weekend, I went dispersed camping to test out a new tarp I bought online. Not sure if it was because of the high altitude, but after 4 hours, I still couldn’t get a fire going. I ended up making a massive burrito, but nearly burned my hair in the process! The next morning, I whipped up some Sapporo-style ramen with six different eggs, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, the trip was ...

Dispersed Camping: Cooking Bibimbap Alone in the Woods | Nick Yang Supertramp
มุมมอง 1.4K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
This was my first time challenging myself to sleep directly on the ground while dispersed camping, but it turned out to be much harder than I expected. Thunderstorms and rain made it freezing cold, so I had to sleep in the car... The next day, I made a delicious bibimbap alone in the woods, and it was absolutely worth it!

Woo, that’s the dangerous one with snowy weather, hope you guys all stay safe and be prepared well all the time plz. Great video btw. Keeping following you with more good spots! Is there possible to know how many bunk beds they have in there? Thx
I loved this video! Take more water next time! Stay safe. Miss you and the crew. ❤
We miss you guys too! Stay warm!
To give up this kind of relaxation is very fresh and very enjoyable.
You wasted such delicious crab and all those amazing drinks! 😂 Next time, try making a more ‘proper’ dinner-something that fits the snowy vibe! But seriously, safety is so important, especially for winter camping in extreme conditions. It’d be great if you could share more safety tips in your videos-it would be super helpful! Looking forward to your next adventure!
put cloth on for Tiaotiao..
Couldn't you tell your dogs' feet were frozen when you had to pull him to get him to walk. Take better care of your dog please
Yeah, I noticed that later too, so I put him in the car.
@@NickYangSupertramp good and thanks
@@NickYangSupertramp i subbed to watch your growth
Thank you!
Those are my favorite mi goreng. So tasty
Following you for several weeks, your content is getting more and more interesting!!! You are the best cook for outdoors, haha! Keep making your videos 💪
Thank you for your support bro! I almost quit
Get a tent for your pickup truck bed
Did you bring food for your dog or does he eat your food?
@@laurierudolph I brought food for him. Sometimes he’ll eat some of my food if he likes it(if the food is not bad for him)
Bro this content is incredible. Thanks youtube for the random suggestion. You need way more views and subs. Don't stop. I'll be excited to watch your channel grow. Cute doggo too.
Thanks brother! You made my day!
Agree! Awesome content
you should give your dog some more snacks though
Will do hahah
premium camp food!
Beautiful view!
ty for this video! I'm in the planning stages to get out there in 2025. I'm a beginner hiker and this is on my list
@@ThomasAdams720 Do it! You won’t regret
The scenery by the seaside is truly beautiful.
Surprised there were no mosquitoes?

Wow, have to say this is on my bucket-list as well! Scenery was sooo good, especially the sunrise. And good to know this tramp from you, thanks bro~
❤❤❤
This is a cool video! And the voiceover Makes me want to be there and it’s so funny too
Thank you bro!
Climbing a mountain and eating Cheetos is just too funny! No wonder you looked like you were about to pass out at the end.
cheetos is the best
The scenery on the last stretch of the journey was so beautiful! Next time I go to Colorado, I want to take on that challenge too!!!!!
Do it!
Really love your videos! They’re funny even in the midst of exhaustion. I was wondering, can you stay overnight at Barr Camp?
Yes, you can stay overnight at Barr Camp. They offer bunk cabins, lean-tos, and camping spots, but reservations are required. It’s a good way to break up the hike to Pikes Peak.
I’m curious, how long would it take for someone who doesn’t exercise much to reach the summit?😮
It could take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The trail is 13 miles with a 7,500-foot elevation gain, so the time will depend on factors like fitness level, pace, and how often they stop to rest.
one more most entertaining and underrated video from Nick
I really appreciate that brother 😂
Next time, I’m definitely not carrying such a heavy pack (about 25 pounds). Those last two miles nearly killed me. I’ll be working out more in the meantime so that next time I can hike all the way down instead of taking the train. And I’ll definitely bring gloves-the temperature difference near the end was huge, and my hands were so cold I couldn’t even hold my phone (camera)… Still too amateur, haha!
What up Nick! Just came across your channel Sub 296 right here! Keep on camping man🌲🐕.
@@dischoutdoors Thanks for the support brother! I’m your 887!
So hungry watching your videos even though the food looks nasty bro😂😂
Nasty but tasty brother! 🙌🏼
I laughed out loud when I saw you making that soju bomb.
The fire in the frying pan while I was cooking? Yeah, it turned into a full-blown inferno… totally caught me off guard, and I had zero time to react. Then came the soju bomb-I thought I was being all fancy, trying something I saw online, but it ended in a way I definitely didn’t expect… what a night!😂
NICE!! video Nick,👍👍

awesome 👏
That was a great video bro!
Thanks for your support bro!
Is the wood dried out
Yes. It’s not the wood it’s me😂
But you succeeded the second time😅
How did you know that hahah🙌🏼
Try twigs first then heavier wood......nothing to do with the striker.....everything to do with technique.
Thanks for the tip! Looks like I need to work on my technique more than relying on the striker. 😂
Learn to build a fire, make feather sticks start small dry twigs, work your way up. Make a small wall to block the wind
@@dannyadamson2198I’ll try that next week! Thanks for the tips!❤
I think the rice has been left out for too long. I’ve had diarrhea four times already.😂😂😂
Your cooking skills are still a bit rusty, but this egg fried rice actually looks pretty good!
It’s soooo hot
