That's why I use instant oceans yes it makes my bin dirty and takes a little longer to mix clear but I have had consistent numbers with it and nothing crazy happens

Have you ever considered the fauna Marin salt. It’s ICP tested so you know what levels it is. It also is. Ground up super fine and mixes fast. Sorry for your losses. @shallowreefing

My phosphates are currently at 0.3 ppm what would be the safest way to lower them with this product i have a 24 gallon reef tank mixed coral. Is there a certain amount or time period i have to follow to lower them? Thanks.

Ive got the exact same wavemaker. Its the first one I got. That thing blasts my 75. Going on 8 months and ive never even cleaned it. Still stong flow

I have 3 different Hygger wavemakers in my mixed reef. I'm extremely happy with them. I'm about as stocked as a 75 can be. Going to be upgrading to a bigger tank soon and I assure you, Hygger is coming with me. I use their heater as well. Love the functionality, love the price, love the controllers. Going on 8 months with no cleaning as well.

Is there a manual mode on these lumen bars? Can you turn them on and adjust the intensity to check Par levels at different percentages without running a “program”.

next time around it may be easier to just sell the rock and remove the coral that you want onto a new rock and just pull out all the mushrooms otherwise your going to have a huge headache doing this over and over

It happens my clownfish are 17 years old my yellow tank died at 13 years. Everything dies. This is not the ocean and what they eat there. Sorry for your loss

I’m sorry this happened. I know how it feels. I lost all of mine, I had a yellow, purple, blond naso, copperband,blue hippo, flamefin, powder blue, bristle tooth, three clowns, and green mandarin all die due to a power outage even with two battery backups on only my return pumps. I had all these guys for three years. It almost made me quit the hobby. I feel your pain.

this $4k tank doesnt come with the plumbing??

my stand was on a "level" floor, IE, no kinks, but the stand itself is wobbly. when placing the final side on, or "top" as it were, 3 of the 4 tension locks were smooth as butter, but the last one..... would not align properly and had to be "forced" to make the connection. I am not real happy with this thing, considering the price.

the tension locks on mine would NOT spin a complete 180. no amount of brute force would make them spin the remaining 20 degrees or so, in fact, I almost broke their wrench trying to do that, and I am not a believer in brute force. if I am building something, and something just won't go, it usually means something is wrong.... but in fact, there was nothing wrong with how I built it, I am just going to assume that the locks at about 150 instead of 180 is going to be enough....

You said it’s a mid wide flow but please let me know how you compare the flow width with jebao. The SLW 30 is a bigger pump that would compete with the hugger but its flow is very wide.

I don’t use just pure hydrogen peroxide.. I put my fried in a small container with one cup of tank water.. I’ve been slowly add hydrogen peroxide to the water until I see bubbles form on the flag.. You only want the hydrogen peroxide to affect the allergy not your coral. I use a very small, soft bristle brush to wipe away any debris that is on the coral or the frag.. You will see the bubbles forming on the spread and you were able to gently brush it with the bristle brush.. With the hydrogen peroxide added to your tank water in the dish you can let the flag sit for a minute or two with no harm.. It’s the peroxide is so strong that it’s bleaching your frag you know it’s too strong for your corals.. It is easier on the coral to have to go back and repeat this process after a week if you still see Algae
