The best part of being 52 is seeing how the phone has changed. It still blows my mind that I can order a pizza using an app, like Pizza Hut, pick out exactly the pizza or 3 pizzas that I want, pay for them, and have them delivered anywhere I am. All on the phone. In the 70's, you had to dial the number and if you messed up, you hung up and started again. Then you would hear it ring, and ring and if no one was home, it would ring for a while. You'd hang up and say, "I guess they aren't home." That was it. No texting, no leaving a message, and no way for them to know anyone had called at all. Then the answering machine was invented and that changed everything in the 80's.

I'm 52 and I remember all of this stuff. Scooby Doo was my favorite cartoon and we would watch Super Friends, Space Ghost, The Flintstones, etc... My brother and I would get up at 6am and race downstairs to see what was on first. I still remember trying Wheaties and it had Bruce Jenner on it after winning the Gold Medal for the Men's Decathlon in the 1976 Olympics. My brother also would open up the cereal boxes first and dig through the cereal to find the prizes inside.

It shows that sometimes when we look at historical figures and wonder why everyone was in love with them, we just never knew their liveliness and facial expressions which are a huge part of personality. Its so hard to see through old photos paintings and statues

Script written by person who did not grow up in the seventies.

Whoever wrote the script for this must not have been around in the 70s. For #4, they were called Mood Rings. Never hear them called "emotion rings." And for #7, it was always Easy-Bake Oven, not mini-bake. It says Easy-Bake right on the box! And #9 is really messed up. It shows Pet Rocks, but talks about feathered hair, which is discussed again in #10.And where did "floating beds" come from in #12. They were always called waterbeds. And for #22 the generic name of Ditto machines (mimeograph machines) is never mentioned, but it should. Also, many of these items were around long before the 70s, and some remained popular well into the 80s.

I was 19 in '74. What a great year. Just like all of the 70s.

I was 12 and 1974 was glorious. In New York, we rode our bikes 20 miles into Connecticut and our parents had no idea where we were. My friends and I traveled by train and subway to see the Mets or Yankees (with no parents). Lots of golf and swimming at the country club. Pure heaven.

I was 12. What a childhood!

They're beautiful and realistic-looking videos, but not of the actresses they are supposedly portraying. The AI did a very good job of superimposing movements and personalities on the stills, but it looks like the same movement and personality on each one. Linda Carter doesn't really move and smile like that, and Marilyn Monroe definitely didn't. Probably they couldn't yet capture Linda's/Marilyn's own movements because of copyright issues, but that's definitely coming.

This is so astounding - that you can make them talk and move from a simple photograph. It is almost disturbing. By the way, the girl in the white shorts & black top is NOT Jane Mansfield. Also, I love Ava Gardner, but I fear that the third picture is not Ava. Cheers.

Capturing these people from an old photo that’s decades old into a short second video is amazing. I wish I can do this with a picture of my love one.

A roof over your head and enough to eat went a long ways towards being rich

My mom grew up privileged in rural central Wisconsin. They had 2 houses. the summer lake house had 4 bedrooms and 2 bath. Their main house was a 2 story 6 bedroom 2 1/2 bath room, with a family room, large office, as well as an upstairs living area and cedar walk in closet, a laundry room, all on 40 acres. At least 3 cars at all time. My mom is the oldest of 11 kids. Several pets, boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles, all this on a single income, and not college degree.

My mom is the oldest of 11 kids, they grew up in central Wisconsin in a town of under 400 people, but they were well off. they had two homes, the lake house was 4 bed 2 bath room. the main house on 40 acres was 6 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. All this on one income and no college degree. My grandfather had is own fuel oil business and 2 gas stations.
