I used Omega armor, but just remember that this is pre-updated Asriel, I have a video to the update battle somewhere in my channel.

Pulse of Determination is a 5% or so chance from tier 4 and 5 Asgore. I.E. Asgore that has 1 billion and 3 billion health.

I would highly recommend trying to get Omega Flowey Gear, but I will say that all it does is gives more damage and health, so it is skippable. As long as you at least have Asgore Guard and Asgore Trident, I would recommend that the Guard be upgraded with only Defense for much more health and Trident be maxed with whatever damage type is best for your spells. Asriel drops 2 items now, so as long as you win just one time, you'll very likely get the Chaos Saber or Hyper Death Robe. The fight pattern is in the video, so I don't need to explain the battle. @@Nyftl Asriel's battle doesn't have that feature, only Flowey can do that. And it doesn't save/load your equipment, even in Flowey. You don't have to worry about getting bamboozled with that.

Omega Flowey gear. Flowey drops 2 sets of gear. Omega (strength) and Temmie Spell (Magic).

I switch between Asgore Flames, Six Souls, Pulse of Determination, and Flowey Nukes. I also do Strength, Magic just doesn't have as much potential as Strength based on my experience.
