I bet you didn't know the SEGA Genesis could sound this good!
Well, it's the crystal clear mode, what the console was really intended to sound like. This one contains multiple instrument banks and banging 80s drums for the hard punch this piece needs. In addition to that, some creative liberties were taken not only for it fit within the confines of the console limits, but to ensure the piece retains its richness and tonalities that make it so special.

Both Hatsune Miku and YM2612 have three similarity: made by Yamaha (actually Miku it's Crypton but VOCALOID is Yamaha manufactured) a synthesizer, and it's game made by SEGA. But Ievan Polkka exist a long long way before Miku exist.
