Thank you Goodyear for a great experience flying in the Goodyear Blimp over Cardiff in March 2011 at the start of it's European Tour ( the first one for over 10 years). Pity the weather was a bit grey but still a fantastic day out with wonderful hospitality...

Out in the car today, I saw a red kite take off from the side of the road. As usual, by the time I'd stopped, got the camera out, the bird had flown off a bit but I still got some pictures. The kite got mobbed , hope you can see it.... On the mountain above Fochrhiw and Bedlinog, it was windy and chilly, but that's Wales for you in November!

Just an evening walk in April....as the leaves open, and the first spring flowers are present, you can hear the woodpeckers drumming on the trees...
lighting the clearview stove.mp4
มุมมอง 31K14 ปีที่แล้ว
At last got around to doing another video of lighting the stove properly... and showing a bit of cooking/boiling the kettle. The electric stove doesn't get much use these days! No need to empty the ash out, I just do it once a week.

What a difference a week of below freezing temperatures makes. Massive icicles, the ice on the river thick enough to walk over and stunning views. Great day out!
saws, axes and firelighting
มุมมอง 2.2K15 ปีที่แล้ว
trying out the £2.99 Florabest folding saw from Lidl against the £20 Bahco Laplander folding saw. Having a go at firelighting with a flint and steel, using a Grundfors Bruks small forest axe to prepare the wood. All a bit of fun on a lovely September evening....
Cutting down trees in the forestry

The machine used by the forestry commission makes pretty short work of harvesting the trees...stripping the bark and cutting the wood to length takes seconds..

Absolutely emotional 💕💕🎶🍀
I'm sure you'll learn how to make it if you'll read woodprix from cover to cover :)
YEAH
Been watching this video for over several years now and I,m loving both the accent and the asmr.
I could repair my bike after I saw the video, thank you
Great stove and goes well! Is it a multifuel?
Nice video. Plenty of wood on there. Is it a Multifuel?
total have how many bearing per side
Beatifull sound si mágic
If there is worse video , please tell me 10,000 of the lost vainly searching here or thinking that cog swapping is a vaguely obscene term

Wow that kettle doesn't take long to boil. Where did you get it from?
Ffin um hi
Wow, this looks easy! Thank you!
Same engines as the old US GZ-20?
no

Brilliant, and very informative. I'm getting a Pioneer 400 in a couple of weeks. Just widening my fireplace at the moment. Can't wait. Is yours still going strong ?
Bicycle RUSSIA - the BEST!!!
Brilliant video! The best video I've seen so far and stripping down the gear assembly... what grease use?
So after 7 years what do you think of your clearview?
still got it, its like new still apart from one cracked firebrick this year. Wouldn;t be without it! also have finished the fireplace now too!
ps no cons, only pro's! limited dust, only caused if you arent careful when emptying he ash, but that is once every few weeks..
blumpher how much wood do you burn a year? Does it heat the whole house?
I probably burn 2.5-3 cu m per year...I have gas central heating set at 12.5 and top up with the woodstove.
Another great video from Mr Blumph
Very helpful, than you!
Great video. I've just put my rear wheel back in and to my amazement the wheel seems way off centre- the rim seems to be 4mm closer to the chain stay on the sprocket side than the other side. What's wrong? Do I need another spacer on the sprocket side. Thanks.
where do you get sprockets and chain from do they have to be certain type and spec ?
thanks, I just replaced by sprocket and this was very helpful!
Nice simple vid - you shed get a magnetic tray, very useful👍
very succinct, i am only changing a spoke! I clean mine every couple of weeks that's how i find things need doing - routine maintenance avoids sooner than required replacement😉 I have quality tools but still find the dog-bone spanners useful👍 Just dont wallop them! Thanks again👊
Nice video - looking forward to lighting ours, just as soon as the rendering has gone off. How long to boil the kettle? Any whats it's capacity? Thanks!
How do you know when you're at the top?
Hello Do you know the size of the ball bearing in the standard front hub? I would like to replace them by better bearing. Thanks.
I have the Clearview Pioneer 400 and what a fantastic stove it is. It was fitted a month ago and must admit it's the best money I've ever spent. My house has never been as cosy!
Is this the Clearview Vision 500?
its the 400 Brian I have the same model but with stainless furniture
Would love you post your videos, :-). I didn't want to put the link with out your permission, :-)
I have just set up a facebook page for people that have clearview pionner. Would love for you to pop there. (I just set it up today) :-) facebook.com/groups/715981965096519/
GARDUS R3203612 12-FT EXTENSION KIT FOR LINT EATER £33.81
I keep reading that you should really have 2 thermometer, flue and stove. :-)
Blumpheroni were did you get the cleaner? I only saw an extension in Amazons. :-(
not sure exactly what you mean, you have no chimney stack so your going for a twin wall rigid flue system, even if you have 2 bends you wont need any access into the flue on most models of stove as the baffles all need to be removed when you sweep them, but exeptions exist if you have many bends or its a poor instal it would help, you wont save any money having this stove looking at4 grand ish then you still have to buy fuel
Mega, I'm going to get also a clearview "oven" (want to see if I can not use my gas at all, and take cold showers), mine will be with a flue (no chimenie), Should I place a "sweeping opening" further up the flue (3 floor), being told you only need cleaning the first couple netter on a flue. ? I really need to stay away from any extra cost, I'm disabled so my income is extremely limited, being saving 10 years for this, would it help the extra sweeping door? thank you
you need a clearance of min 16cm on each site, it does seem he has that. ?
Beautiful rendition!! Thanks for posting!
I've probably removed the derailleur 40 times to clean it up after a ride in the rain. I tried to use grease the first time I took it apart but I ended up cleaning it out after a short ride. I think that this derailleur works best dry. I wish they had a better solution that doesn't have such small nooks in there. It's a pebble magnet.
Good video. New to Brompton here in Ohio. Good one handed camera work too!! But I had to LOL at the Shimano shot. If you're at 2k miles and need all those new Brommie parts, my Ultegra has well over 10k miles and I've only replaced the chain 3x... But rear cogset will be this year.
If you cleaned your drivetrain once in a while and put a chain on sooner you would not need sprockets so soon. Also, invest in some decent tools.
Awesome! I always dreamed of travelling on this blimp
what kind of spanner is that you used for the nuts on the wheel?
Hi there Blumpheroni! Great videos...I just got my first Brompton and am loving it and any videos or suggestions from other Brommie fans. I hope you still check your mail here...I am trying to find that spanner wrench you use it in the video.. Where did you get it? Do you know where to find it online, or is there any marking on there? Any help you could give would be appreciated! Thanks! McKay
Those spanners always break. Why do they still even make them?
