I have known that I am responsible for what I see around me and am living. But lately l, I had forgotten and have been feeling like things are happening "to" me. It's good to hear this again and change my perspective. It's like gaining my power back! ❤

A lot of golden nuggets here to pick up. One of the many things that stood out is when Brian spoke about how when he is having a tough time, he reaches out to others. That makes a big difference. Sometimes I think it must be me, then hear someone with such vast experience has a struggle, it lets me know I’m on the right track. That alone goes a long way in staying in this game.
Excellent that you walked away with that! When any of us think “it’s only me” that is our inner gremlin shaming us into more isolation with its lies. Trading is hard. For every single trader. Experienced or not! Whatever you’re going through - remember that another trader somewhere has their own version of the same challenge.

It’s insane to me that this wonderful episode only has 300+ views so far. You both were wonderful. I can’t thank you enough for these reminders Brian. Sometimes I find myself holding a profitable position too long and allowing it to turn into a loser but, from my tracking I know that if I just took profits consistently at 2R every time based on my style, I’d be very profitable. You have a great sense of detachment that is necessary for profitable trading.

Mine is probably overpreparing and overstudying different systems. Its with the perfectionist personality i guess. I should focus more on trading ans getting screen time more with my main system rather than deep diving into statistics and complex other systems. What would be your practical suggestion to go on the right direction over this issue?
Love your self awareness - that you are noticing this in the first place is such a good sign. What feeling is it that you are avoiding to feel? You’re over studying / over preparing likely to avoid what? Is it loss? Is it being wrong? Sit with what shows up when you feel tempted to distract yourself from taking action.

It’s part of the human condition - but there are practices that can mitigate this -self awareness - noticing it is afoot is one. Gratitude for what is me already has is another
