I was in Badulla that day.. The SPL derailed near Kotagala I think, M6 797 was the 1046 pilot engine and the main was 785. Somehow 797 took the set back to Colombo and 796 was attached as the 1045 pilot engine with 788. 797 was supposed to haul the 1126 but that was worked by the previous day 1596 engine, M6 790. The previous day 1007 engine, M6 795 only worked the 1008, which I came back in.
